Heats up food more evenly. Has great quick settings for warming or re-warming dishes. Super quiet really didnt realized how loud the older model was until now. Variable setting with lights and fan, comes in handy as night lighting.

The one I replaced had a few more features, but I rarely used them. The one thing that bothers me is the clock. The numbers are very close together and are are not legible from a distance.

Also the unit makes a vibrating sound when cooking food more than a few minutes (it's not the fan). Unit looks nice and was easy to install.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clean white finish and clear control panel; Doing the job...specifications show maybe a little less maximum wattage than previous microwave we had, and cooking requires a few more seconds here and there, but all microwaves require a little learning period to get acquainted with proper cooking times.

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this one 3 years ago based on Consumer Reports and Best Buy reviews, worked great until it wouldnt turn on. Turns out these models are known to short due to the "overuse of the door" (that was from a GE tech that came out). Tech said dont bother repairing as he would charge more than it costs to buy new (hows that for quality and sustainability). So I went ahead and bought an open-box one that happened to be at the local Best Buy... Worked for 2 weeks. Guess I should be happy since it allowed me to return within the 15 day period. Well, on to another brand (Whirlpool) but i heard that there really are only a couple manufacturers of these microwaves, and they resell them under the different appliance brands. So who knows, just hoping this new Whirpool one lasts 3 years instead of 2 weeks...

Over The Range Microwave

We were told in the store that the unit was not plugged in and this was why it did not have the backlighting. WRONG!
