My goal was to find a microwave that fit in my current over the range space without making it hard to see the range dials. This one fit the size, has a good look, great price and does what I want it to do - mainly heat and reheat.

This GE microwave is very similar to the one that we purchased last time. We have been very happy with the style, size, price and features of the microwave. I would recommend it highly

It's bigger than what I expected which works out great for larger containers. The stainless is easy to keep looking fantastic. The controls are user friendly. The installation was well worth the cost. It was a great buy.

This was an almost one for one replacement to the previous microwave that died. The price was great and it fit perfectly. My only issue is the door is cheaply made and it is very loud. However, for the price you can't beat it. As far as how it works, it works as advertised. No issues there.

I’m sure there are much fancier microwaves out there but this thing is a value workhorse. Simple design with features that will meet most needs. This is our second of the same model and the only reason that the first one died after 7 years was bad positioning above our stove and excessive steam exposure shorted out the control panel. Specs are supposedly the same on this one as our last but this one has significantly more cooking power. We’re knocking off 10-20 percent off our normally cooking times. Again, definitely recommend for a sturdy over range microwave but probably not suited for a high end kitchen.

This microwave works very well. It's quiet and efficient.It's spacious. The best part was that I could use the same bracket from my previous GE Profile, so installation was a breeze. My one minor complaint is that the GE logo button is relatively large and ugly...plus it's centered to the whole oven, not the door, so it looks off center - and would either way. Maybe...no logo?? Can't help staring at it...

I bought this to replace my old GE Sensor Cooking Microwave that was 15 years old. This has most of the same features with a couple of small differences. It is clearly not as solid as the old one. The mounting frame is just one piece and not a whole frame like the old was. It seemed to be more difficult to mount. The plusses are that the fan is more powerful, the light is brighter, and the sensor cooking seems to be better. It is OK for the price, but a bit more cheaply built.

Love the sleek line of this model and has been simple to operate.

Love my microwave. It was ready for pick up when promised. Very easy to install. I love the appearance and features. Best Buy is very professional to do business with.

GE 1.7 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave Review This GE microwave is a solid, no-fuss kitchen upgrade that delivers reliable performance with a sleek stainless steel design. The 1.7 cu. ft. capacity provides plenty of space for reheating or cooking, while the sensor cooking feature ensures food is heated evenly without guesswork. The defrost function works well, and the venting system does a decent job at clearing steam and odors. It’s not the most high-tech model out there, but for everyday use, it’s efficient, easy to operate, and a great blend of functionality and value.

We were up in the air between this and another competitor but ultimately decided on this model. It is a great value, and we are happy with our purchase.

Nice microwave, great size, quiet with a lot of features

Works great now without issue. Had an old GE microwave from 2008 that we wanted to replace, and the over-range mounting hardware was the same dimensions/style. GREAT so that you don't have to detach anything from the wall, just drill new holes into the cabinet to match the new support points and install in minutes. One nicety compared to LG close alternative is Express Cook buttons which we got very used to. Unfortunately, the first one we bought had some manufacturer's defects with dented metal panels on top and bottom. Best Buy replaced it no problem, but it was a pain to bring it all the way back to store for exchange.

Works like it should! Very similar to our last microwave though the color of the lights are different. Sleek design, easy to use.

Fit perfect to the area and look beautifull very easy to use

So quiet you can barely tell its on. We should have replaced our loud one a very long time ago. Easy to install, although I did want it installed with the vent going outside instead of recirculating, but it wasn't doable at this time.

Simple microwave for reheating, etc. The sensor cook settings are nice, but don't use for soups, etc. with milk as they may tend to boil over. The melt setting does not adjust for volume so take care with that. Some of the Sensor settings can be adjusted (popcorn, potatoes) for time. Can be vented inside or out & also has a separate replaceable "paper-type" filter in the top grid for inside venting. This is not a huge microwave but large enough for most tasks.

While we've only had this microwave over for about a month, so far, it's been great! It looks really good, has loads of interior space, is easy to clean, has a 30 second heating button, which is great for reheating a cup of coffee (mine always gets cold before I finish the cup), express setting for up to 5 minutes and using the microwave is very intuitive--no complicated instructions. This will be the 3rd microwave oven we've had since moving into our house and it is, by far, our favorite. Additionally, we purchased the microwave on sale and it was very reasonably priced .

This microwave has all of the standard features and is a good size for use in the kitchen of a typical family kitchen. The appearance is good, it is easy to clean and keep looking good, and it cooks a variety of foods well. We had intermittent problems with the door switches with the brand new unit. Geek Squad was able to correct them with an after-installation visit, but it seems clear that the way that the door switches operate make the microwave prone to this kind of problem.

We love our new microwave. We liked our older one (same brand same size) and this one works GREAT! Install was very easy and it looks great in our kitchen.
