I can only say it was worth the price the room gets extremely cold and that’s on low and on eco and Auto get it you won’t regret it..

[Employee of bestbuy] AC came with every single internal screw holding the fan in place removed, you have to open the case and screw it in yourself or just return it. Not worth it. LOOK INSIDE BEFORE YOU BUY! Hilarious lack of quality control.

Came with a broken top plate and was hard to install. Had to order a replacement part for it.

Broken and loose directional wind fin. Makes a loud rattling noise when compressor kicks in.

Great air conditioner for cooling a bedroom or larger living room. This AC is easy to use, program, the remote is very easy and it cools an entire bedroom really well. It's very quiet and stays clean and is easy for one person to lift.

I bought this GE 5000 BTU window AC for a small bedroom, and it’s been a lifesaver during hot summer nights. For the size, it cools the room quickly and keeps the temperature consistent without running too loud. The installation was straightforward, and it’s light enough that I could set it up on my own. The controls are simple, and I like that it doesn’t have a bunch of unnecessary features just plug it in, set your level, and it does the job. Noise level is reasonable; it has a steady hum but not enough to disturb sleep or TV. If I had to mention one drawback, it’s that it doesn’t come with a remote, so you have to adjust settings directly on the unit. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. Overall, this AC is affordable, reliable, and effective for small spaces. Definitely a solid buy if you need something basic that just works.

I gave this AC unit 5 stars because of its quality, features and ease of installation. The unit is a perfect size for a small room and does a nice job of cooling. I like the remote control and digital Temperature display and the ease of installing the side accordion panels.

It's small, light, easy to install, and just works. No fancy features, but if you just need a window air conditioner to cool a small room, this does the trick.

Filter gets a little tight on putting it back in but this is a great little AC, it keeps it cool in my 13 x 13 room, any bigger I would size up. Filter light pops on when it needs changing, definitely worth the price for what this little unit puts out though.

Never late happened to attach the sides to an AC unit but this one is as easy as it gets once it's in the window set up as a breeze and it does exactly what it's supposed to do cool that small room with no problem and it's fairly quiet good price and my experience GE units/long time I already have one

Perfect for a small room. Does exactly what it needs to do. Not overly loud, the delay feature works great and room is already cool at the time you want it to be no complaints. Love having the remote & being able to control without having to get up.
