I choose not to put in the ice machine because I wanted the full size of the freezer for food. Great buy. I bought it about two months ago.

BUT --- cubic footage does not tell the whole story, and things like shelf depth end up making this have less usable room and less flexibility. Decent purchase --- not a great one --- design matters!
