With shims you can get the top level but then the sides aren’t level. Floor, walls and cabinets are level, refrigerator is not. It also runs louder than previous refrigerator.

It looks great, but seems smaller than our last model of this same type of refrigerator. Shelves are not as deep, but on the plus side its much colder than our aging model!

To fit a pizza box I had to remove one door basket and strategically position the others. But it does fit nicely into a smaller space.

The freezer is definitely smaller than in my last fridge though. So far it has run very quietly, and all features are working well. I hope it will last for many years to come.

Small but serves the purpose

Decided on a counter depth GE because the outside dimensions of it fit our space. There were none in stock so it had to be ordered. Well, once it was delivered and installed I was a little unhappy as the interior depth is quite short...hence counter depth. The freezer is also on the small side. We opted to not hook up the icemaker which gave us a tray for extra freezer space. There are only two of us so we are making it work. Just wish I had seen one before ordering.

This one is perfect site flush and still provides a good amount of space for food.

Wow!!! Had I known it wasn’t available, I would have picked something else.

Posted .Newer refrigerators sound different from older models. Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology which produces more noise. Please take a moment to review the 'Normal Operating Conditions" section on pg. 42 of the Owner's Manual.
The fresh food doors and freezer drawer on your French door fridge have magnetic gaskets that slide into a groove retaining channel. This creates a tight seal against the door. It's possible that you may need to adjust the gaskets on your unit. For help with this taske, we recommend you follow the steps in the support article on the GE Appliances website titled: "French Door Refrigerator - Adjusting or Replacing the Door Gaskets."
