Love GE! There are 3 main things that I love about this GE microwave that replaced a similar LG model that quit working after about 2 years. 1) The LG had an annoying tune that played every time it finished its cycle. With the touch of one button, I can mute the sound on this one. LG had a rather complicated way to handle that and it had to be reset every time our electrical power was interrupted. 2) The design matches my GE profile stove which it sits near and it is slightly smaller than the LG which is helpful since this is on a shelf over the counter. Still has as much inside space as the other one. 3) Best of all--it is white inside, rather than a darker gray so I can once again see what is happening in there when the microwave is running. It also feels more solid, I love the one-touch quick starts for 1-6 minutes and didn't even realize how much stress the old one added to my work until this one replaced it. (I have a bed & breakfast and use it every day for melting, heating, etc.)

Purchased this GE 2 Cubic Ft Microwave from Best Buy after our old one stopped working. The instructions that came with it were clear. It fit perfectly in the spot where the old one was. After removing the packing material, I plugged it in, setup the clock and viola it started working immediately. Interestingly, I placed the old one on Free Cycle and the person who picked it up, an engineer, was able to fix his old one using the control panel from the one I had.

This microwave heats up good pretty fast! I thought I would need a whole minute to heat up my lentils but it was waaaaay too hot so on the second plate I put 40 seconds and it was still a bit too hot but good enough to eat there and then. I’m giving it 4 stars cause you basically have to slam the door to close and the buttons as well which caused the plastic to start coming off the buttons; due to everyone’s long nails -.- other than it it works perfect for what it’s for.

Saw these in our local restaurant and decided to check for testing results in our consumer magazine. lab tests indicated a excellent heat pattern throughout the cooking surface. Picked up one and have put it through 3 months of heavy use. Am very happy with its Power, interior size, and full function control panel layout.

I love the 1200 watt power. It is large enough to cook a casserole. The microwave has easy control buttons and easy set up. I highly recommend! Heats really fast!

My 25 year old model finally died. This is the same size and looks like all the same buttons. The size was perfect to fit into the existing opening and trim kits. Works just like my old one. Working fine. No complaints at all. Hope it lasts another 25 years.

Been working like a champ. It replaced a beloved Magic Chef microwave from 20 years ago. Hated to lose that one, but SO HAAPY this one has a larger capacity and easy to use. I still have not reviewed the entire guide to decipher settings, but looks similar to most option settings. Most of my use is heating up coffee or small food portions.

Looks good, works fine and I like the large size. It's noisier than I expected. I returned one that was horribly noisy (probably something wrong with it) and this one is at an acceptable noise level. Maybe that's just how they are now (for this size), not sure. The plastic that covers everything that you have to peel off was tucked so deep into some edges that I couldn't get it completely off. The part that I couldn't get off isn't visible so I can live with it.

Was in the market for a full size countertop microwave and this model fit my needs perfectly. A lot more powerful than my prior one and I like all of the features, which I am slowly learning how to use.

Love it! Replaced the same one I had for years and it fit in it's spot (in the wall) without having to make any changes. Can't beat the price compared to other in wall units. With the trim kit, it blends perfectly with my GE double oven just below it. As a microwave, it's spacious and does everything we need it to do.

I replaced an older, smaller microwave with this GE 2.0 cu ft model and have been very pleased with it! Plenty of room for larger dishes and plenty of power. I also like the Express cook function- one touch start for something that you are putting in for say 2 minutes- close the door and hit "2" and the unit starts automatically on hi for 2:00 minutes.....you dont have to hit 2,0,0,start. Overall great microwave!

We bought this model because we are replacing our older Microwave...same model. Easy to use, powerful, sits on our countertop. Highly recommended.

Has been running perfectly from day of purchase little over 2 months. Easy to use and kids have no issues with figuring out how to use it.. Did disable child lock via the little turn button on the side, that was annoying but might be helpful with super young kids. Like the large size compared to our old one.

Very large, very powerful, intuitive to use (no, I didn't read the manual), and not especially noisy (as some suggested).

I hunted for this specific microwave via google lens. An older version of this microwave was used for a customized built in just before i bought my house. It quit working and i was wanting the samw microwave because of the custom fit. I don't know if this review favors the microwave itself or the convenience of google lens! The microwave does the job, looks nice, and the predecessor lasted 10+ years before. I think the old one was damaged by my husband unintentionally.

Easy to install. Operation is straight forward. Plenty of power. Dimensions in advertisement were correct.

This is a high capacity family size microwave that is powerful with plenty of cooking/defrosting options. It heats food evenly, has a power 1 to 10 option. I had same GE model build in in my previous residence and knew that I want to get this brand again. Also, it has huge turnable tray and the light while microwave is in operational mode. It defrost evenly, as well. The only issue was that the moment I unpacked it, there was a dent on the SS part of the door. It was quite noticable, so I contacted BB CS and was approved for a replacement. BB arranged UPS pick up of damaged one and delivered a new one within a couple of days. Absolutely superb service! That's why I always shop on BB website with confidence.

Easy installation. It fit perfectly in my cabinet space & is very attractive. Easy to operate & it has much more power than my old microwave.
