If you have English Muffins each day and use the Bagel setting, you must set it each time. Don’t know who made this design decision but I would not have purchased this toaster if i knew the limitations.

Possibly a very poor seal design in the pan underneath. The reason I bought a new toaster. I know there's another leak-proof toaster out there somewhere... If you love insects this is the toaster for you. Every appliance I own in my house is a GE. Love their products. This one happens to be a lemon. Thought about putting heat resistant tape around the bottom. And then I thought I was crazy...

Have to turn the bread to get top and bottom toasted. Now, it is taking twice as long to toast the bread. And it leaks bread crumbs every where - even though I emptied crumb tray regularly. I don't expect a toaster to last forever, but less than a year?? It lasted just long enough to ensure that I couldn't return it. I've seen really cheap toasters do a better job and last longer than this one. Complete waste of money.

Especially frozen waffles. It burns the waffles at the bottom no matter how high or low you put the settings. I am returning it. What a shame because it is nice to look at.

The materials feel very cheap and there is no consistency with this item. Turned all the way down it might burn or barely toast. If you like to live dangerously this toaster is for you.
