The GE - Stainless Steel 2-Slice Toaster is amazing. I just love it. It's sleek, and elegant, with a ton of features that make the perfect toast and bagel every time. There's nothing like having a traditional toaster in the kitchen, and the GE Stainless Steel 2-Slice Toaster takes that experience to a new level. The option to select the type of bread is great. Then select the degree of shade for the bread you use to create the perfect texture every time. The best thing about this toaster is you can easily make toast of varying textures for your family if they prefer lighter or darker toasted bread. I've used the toaster dozens of times and it's always a great slice of toast/bagel every time. I highly recommend the The GE - Stainless Steel 2-Slice Toaster.

I received the GE 2 slice toaster as part of the Best Buy Tech Insider Network in exchange for my opinion of the product. This GE toaster does everything it is advertised to to. It has multiple settings for how done you prefer your toast and each setting seems to be accurate in the amount of doneness it dials in. In all, there are 7 different shading options. In addition to the shading options, this toaster has buttons specifically set for Bagels, frozen pastries and a cancel button. The openings are wide and the speed in which the toaster heats is very good. The toaster is compact, light weight and the stainless steel blends well with other stainless appliances. Overall, this toaster is a good buy for anyone in the market for a 2 slice toaster.

... it toasts! It's a toaster. It is a nice stainless steel and very simple. A turn nob to set the number for doneness. And 3 buttons for "frozen," "bagel" and "cancel." Depending on which you use, it illuminates a pretty blue ring around the button so that you know that's what it is set to. The number dial for doneness goes up to 7. I put my bread on 3 and it was super brown! I mean VERY brown. I like my toast light brown. So that was good, because I know I only need to put it on 2 for toast. My frozen waffle came out well also. This toaster has it's crumb tray on the bottom like usual and you pull it out from the back. It's nice and get the job done. I'm not sold on the high price point though. But good toaster. Peace.

Now normally in a toaster I would have said that there isn't much to say other than the color and the number of slices. I previously used a behemoth of a 4 slice toaster, and we no longer needed that kind of capacity. I find the slots on this toaster to be larger than the one it replaces and the dial having 7 "shades" gives me more options for light/darkness than I previously had. Well made, quick, powerful, not entirely perfect, but getting pretty close. This is a solid choice from a long-standing appliance maker that won't steer you wrong.

This toaster has been a pleasant surprise. it's not out of the ordinary to come across a toaster that doesn't meet your standards of toasting. So far with this toaster I am quite pleased. The toasting itself is very even over the whole piece. It does take a few runs to figure out your preferred setting. The slots are a good size to fit just about anything "toastable" in it. This toaster isn't anything fancy, but it does look great on the counter. It's a bit bulky compared to my old toaster though.

I love the stainless steel look of this toaster and it works really great! It's a simple toaster with 2 different settings that makes it easy for anyone to use. You can either choose frozen or bagel and the last button is cancel. The last knob is how toasted you want your bread or bagel. Aside from how easy it is to work, its very nicely made and nice to look at. Its also very lightweight, but doesn't feel cheap. I love it! Not much to say or complain about it.

I purchased this toaster for use in my second home. The quality is great; the stainless steel is thick and durable. It easily resists scratches and the stainless steel makes it really easy to clean. The crumb tray at the bottom is easy to access and clean as well. The cord is quite short; hence the four star rating. Other than the short cord, this toaster does everything it should. The settings are sensitive and allow you to choose exactly how dark or light you prefer your toast to be. The heating elements inside warm up fast, however, this toaster takes about as long as any other toaster I’ve tried. For the regular price (not on sale), this was a great deal and I would definitely purchase this again. I would recommend this toaster.

Our family is a big user of the toaster, especially for breakfast - from regular toast, to peanut butter toast, to frozen waffles. So, it is rather important that it works the way we need it to. Sometimes, toasters can be hit or miss on how well they toast. Luckily, this toaster works quite well!! I could be humorous and say that this makes excellent toast, but, in fact, it does make great toast! For making toast, it does it very evenly. I found my perfect Shade setting at 4.25, and it comes out great every time. It has a Frozen button which is designed for toasting frozen bread, but it works quite well with frozen waffles. We always had to run 1.5 cycles to get them cooked right with our previous toaster, but just one now with that setting (at 4.5 Shade). And, of course, the Bagel button turns off the outside heating elements, so it just toasts the one side of the bagel. Also, when it pops up, it is rather quiet. The outside design looks good. All stainless steel shell and chrome plasitc buttons and lever. The stainless steel design matches perfectly with our other GE stainless steel appliances. One thing I prefer with our previous toaster was that all of the controls were along the side, so it could be turn against the wall and take up a little less counter space. Also, the crumb tray isn't quite as easy to remove without turning it completely around and moving it to the edge of the counter. All in all, this is a great toaster and we are glad we got it!

It was a Christmas present on my brother's wish list. He wanted a simple to use yet quality toaster that can accommodate a bagel. After an intensive research, he picked this one and has been happy with this toaster.

As far as toasters go, this one works just as expected. I was looking for something to match my other stainless steel appliances and landed on this one at an affordable price. I do really like that the slots on it seem wider and deeper, making it easier to fit the bigger slices of bread or ensuring your bagels get toasted evenly. I like my toast toasted to a light brown color and setting 4 seems to work for me. The only reason for a 4-star review is because overall the toaster seems a little cheap. It's very light and looks like it could dent easily. The buttons and slider seem kind of flimsy and look like they might wear after prolonged use, but I have high hopes that this will last long enough. As long as it toasts my bread, I'm okay with it.

In a day and age where it is really hard to get what you want, this seems to deliver. I wanted stainless steel, I didn't want anything too fancy and I don't need a toaster all the time. The one I had was not working anymore, so I needed something. Things I like: -REALLY easy to push down. This still throws me because the other one you needed to push down hard! -Good for eggos. I like 'em cooked, with the "frozen" feature, they are really pretty perfect. -Easy to keep clean. The other one was a terrible pain. But it was old.

Works perfectly. It is small due to it only having two slices but there is a four slice model as well. There is an option for a bagel which changes the toasting to be on the inside. You can put frozen bread into the toaster with its own dedicated button and use the dial to control the level of darkness you prefer. Very happy with it overall and the chrome color looks good on our counter.

Very good, but toasts more on one side of bread than other. Toasts more even with wider items like bagels.

Excellent toaster, and it was on-sale also. Matches all the S.S. appliances in our new home. What a difference from the old toaster that either didn't brown the toast or burned it.

Makes white bread toasty colored. Doesn't apply the jelly, however..
