    I had to exchange this GE refrigerator because it was very noisy. The Samsung that was the replacement is excellent.

    For a smaller space this refrigerator fills the need. The apartment did not have room for a bigger size so it was difficult to find appropriate size. This bottom freezer is so much more convenient than freezer on the top.

    Compressor seized after 2 years, meaning the fridge is dead. Repair man told me to just buy a new fridge because these fail all the time, quickly, and it would cost 60% of the purchase cost to replace the compressor. Apparently GE sold their appliance division and nothing is even made by GE anymore. STAY AWAY.
