Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator with Ice Maker - PrintProof™ Stainless Steel, Model # LRDCS2603S is opened, the cold air inside the refrigerator is replaced by warmer air in your kitchen that is at room temperature. When you close the door, the compressor kicks on to cool the refrigerator back down to the set temperature so the pressure inside the refrigerator decreases by about 10% causing a vacuum which makes the door hard to open for about 10 to 15 seconds after closing. Once an equilibrium is reached and the air inside equalizes, the door will open as normal. If your doors are always hard to open: Try rubbing paraffin wax or petroleum jelly along the edges of the entire gasket. Paraffin wax is used for canning and is safe for use around food...^IFV
