Posted .Hi there - We are so sorry that your dishwasher is not cleaning the items loaded on the top shelf well and that it isn't getting hot enough. This would be disappointing and we understand your discontentment. It's possible that the dishes aren't getting cleaned well because the inlet water temperature isn't hot enough. To remedy this, turn on the hot water faucet nearest the dishwasher and let run until the water temperature stops rising. Then, start the dishwasher and turn off the faucet. This ensures the entering water is hot. Additionally, you can select "Wash Temp Boost" to increase the temperature of the water. More troubleshooting tips to help with the cleanliness of the dishes can be found on page 19 of the owner's manual: https://files.bbystatic.com/TTBtb8ruuyksmjQF09OcYA%3D%3D/User%2BGuide. Avoid this dishwasher and avoid GE customer service. If you are doing a remodel, purchase your appliances from another store with a longer exchange policy.
