Installation, or lack thereof, nightmare

We have been unable to get installation rescheduled. I've called the store, customer service, and a customer advocate. I've also emailed. My mother is 88 years old with an uninstalled dishwasher sitting in the way. Installation was $179.99 and they have yet to complete or even bother to reschedule. They say there are no dates. Never? no future dates? seriously!!!! Buyer beware.

While he was here he installed the dishwasher for free so I could use it instead of waiting for you to show up.

The sharp pointed knife tips poke down a bit through the bottom of the basket which can't be good for the life of the basket.

Already Serviced in less then a year

The plastic inside burned while washing and could have burned everything down if I hadn’t smelled it being home and stopped it. The only good thing is having the Best Buy membership to have it serviced and pieces ordered and replaced. But I would never buy this dishwasher again. Horrible cheap workmanship and expensive for nothing.

The issue is that it stopped working within months of service and Best Buy gave me the run around to get it repaired. They wanted to charge 125 dollars to go out and look at it even though it is under warranty. So if you purchase this make sure to pay for the extra service so you don't get ripped off.

It was delivered and installed very quickly. the installers were very thorough and finished in less than an hour. , and the team that took the old washer came within 2 hours and took it away.

The installation went smoothly thanks to the delivery of the firm sent by Best Buy to install it. Also, the salesperson was very helpful and listened to my concerns. Could not be happier.

Doesn’t dry well

It was in excellent shape when we received it. Even on the highest drying mode the dishes still come out wet. It does however clean the dishes beautifully

Posted .HI - While we are delighted to hear your new dishwasher is providing great cleaning performance, we are sorry you are not pleased with the dry performance. Please check to be sure you have a minimum of 120 degree water coming into the unit, choose the WashTemp Boost option and the Dry Boost - High option. If you are choosing these options and are waiting for the Clean light to come on prior to opening this dishwasher and you continue having difficulty with wet dishes, we would recommend service. Posted .We encourage you to check the temperature of the water coming into the dishwasher. For optimum wash and dry performance, the water coming in must be a minimum of 120°F. Use a candy or meat thermometer and measure the hot water at the sink closest to the dishwasher. Adjust your water heater as needed. We also recommend choosing the Wash Temp Boost option. You may find you no longer need to pre rinse your dishes. -Vikki@GEAppliances

There was no floor sample available so I bought it because if availability. I returned it unused after finally seeing it after installation. GE should be ashamed to sell this awful dushwadher
