This dishwasher is very nice. We love the slate finish. The adjustable racks and silverware holders give nice flexibility. Haven't had this very long (couple weeks), but quiet, flexible, and effective so far.

Dishwasher is extremely quiet, smooth operation, very pleased with the options, that allow you to have your dishes hot & dry when finished.

The dishwasher works very well. Cleans the hard stuff on the first run. 4 different wash times to choose from. It is a little noisy compared to my Bosch.

This dishwasher is very quiet and has lots of extra features. It doesn't dry the dishes as well as we hoped though.

Super quiet dishwasher that looks great too. I love the delay wash mode! The only problem we encountered was the drip pan was a BEAR to put back on once removed as the istructions told you to do. I am not sure if this was an isolated incident, or if this is a common problem among others. We had to basically unhook the dishwasher and start over since it would not go back on. No issues after installation.

Had a couple of instances where the dishwasher appeared not to have started when left to run overnight. Need more time to verify that this wasn't human error. There have been two instances where the dishwasher appears to have run but upon opening the dishwasher door (at completion), the trap door for the soap was open with soap running down the door looking as though it hadn't released the soap during the actual wash cycle.

Works great and is a very quiet dishwasher. Leveling it during installation took a bit of work but wasn't anything I would expect differently in another dishwasher. I really like that it came with "side flaps" that cover any gap from the dishwasher to the cabinet.

Dishwasher looks great, runs quiet, and performs as advertised. A little more water on the dishes than I'd hoped for with heated dry, but overall a good purchase.

this dishwasher is so quiet. I have found myself opening it to make sure it is working. I would recommend any of the GE slate appliances, I have found GE went all out and did it at an affordable price. If you are thinking about getting new appliance you will not be disappointed in this at all!!!!! FYI there is a green light that indicates it is on....

We like our new dishwasher - dishes come out clean, dry and spotless. The quietness is the best part though it does have a timer that you can set to run later. The only trick is making sure it is closed securely when not in use or running - the "lock" is magnetic, there isn't a lever to slide it closed.

This is an excellent dishwasher for the price. It is very quiet during the wash cycle.

We elected to self-install....what a mistake. The new designs don't allow for a fat hand fit in tight spaces. The fit is snug as a replacement but the added insulation built in provides excellent sound proofing. We love this new dishwasher.

This is one quiet dishwasher! I have to check to make sure I turned it on.

We wanted a dishwasher that was quiet, had a built in food disposal and had a heated dry cycle. This GE dishwasher offered all of that...and it cleans the dishes and pots/pans very well. We are very happy with our purchase. It was also a good value for the money and we would recommend it.

Love the stainless tub (much more durable than plastic tub) and the slate color is very nice.

Have to look at the light to tell if it is running! VERY quiet. So far, it cleans better than our last one and I actually enjoy loading it! Not sure about the steam yet since I haven't used it. Silverware and dishes come out spotless.

Dishwasher is different than previous model and still learning all the nuances of operating

Searched long and hard for a dishwasher that would meet our needs. This one is it. We love the fact that we can wash only the top or bottom rack if we have a smaller load. Works great on large loads too.

Slate finish is finger proof but doesn't match rest of kitchen. Dark wire racks are difficult to see where to put the dishes. Interior dark and needs a light. Runs very quiet. Pain to install.
