ICE issue

The ice maker makes great ice. It just won't turn off. Keeps making ice. Will be contacting service to repair the ice maker.

If ours had not stopped working and this was not the only higher capacity one on sale, I never would have gotten it!

GE’s warranty lasts only 1 year and, therefore, does not cover a new compressor. I do not recommend this fridge, which cost more than $1200. I am very disappointed in GE’s poor workmanship and poor service.

decent fridge for the money

Nothing special about. Lacks storage space for cans which is frustrating. Extra step to get ice cubes from the tray if you don't want some crushed ice along with your cubes.
