||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the Best Buy service was terrible. the product has no freon, it leaks, the temperature setting will not hold, the door seal wont hold, the water leaks in the front where you get water and ice and a few other problems, ge has been out 4 times. they failed to remove my old fridge which i paid for and tore up my hardwood floors. Best Buy has refused any help with replacement of the same model even though i have the Geek Squad warranty.

The unit gets quite loud when the fan runs. A GE repairman has replaced the same part twice. Now, the loud sound is back but only intermittent. Getting ice from this machine is a lound and lengthy affair. When you press your glass up to the ice maker unit, the spiral screw inside the ice try spins and spins before spiting out just a few cubes. Sometimes it’s easier to just reach in a grab the ice with your hand. We purchased this refrigerator because we loved our previous Ge one but this model is a real stinker. I regret that we bought this unit

The fan under the ice maker in the freezer is covered by a plastic grill. The fan ALWAYS bumps into the grill and makes a horrendous noise. There should be a shim to put under the grill to prevent contact with the fan. I've had TWO service people out. Both adjusted the position of the fan and the noise continues. I can't believe that a company like GE can design such a poorly put together appliance!

Water worked for about 3 hours and then froze. Unfeeze line and it will refreeze within a couple hours. Disappointed with this refrigerator. I have owned several side by side and not one has ever done. this
