We had to replace the LG piece of crap we had that had to have the compressor fixed twice in 4 months and still died. Anywho after researching I knew to steer clear of LG and Samsung both with respective class action lawsuits related to their refrigerators. We wanted a GE or Whirlpool. Happy with the GE. Also the delivery was smooth and efficient. The techs were knowledgeable. The salesman was kind and took time with us. Over all a positive experience.

I contacted Best Buy who said it’s still under Manufacturer Protection.. I again reported to GE… Was told it will be picked up for servicing in a week.. I couldn’t wait for a week servicing because I had the refrigerator fully pack6 with food and it will go bad. I had to cancel the report and have a handyman come see or fix it for me.

The new high efficiency compressor we use may run faster and longer than your old refrigerator and you may hear a high-pitched hum or pulsating sound while it is operating. This is normal.
