Very happy keeping cool now I can sleep ! A little noisy

I’m going to give this five stars only because so far it hasn’t given me any problems but be sure to grab a warranty machines break all the time and you want to make sure it can be replaced. The heat was killing me in my home felt like an oven, got a swamp cooler because the reviews were excellent but trust me it’s not worth the money you want a A/C the portable does great I can move it we’re ever and my room is wonderfully cold , cool frosty I love it. This one cools my room and hallway you want it to reach more of the house make sure you look at how many sq ft it cools but excellent choice for me and well spent money so far.

This A/C unit works perfectly in our living room! Most definitely recommend this model for small to medium sized rooms.

Easy install. I had to buy filler for the gaps but it works great. Automatic shut off is another bonus feature. Cools my upstairs room quickly.

I bought this portable room air conditioner to temporarily replace one of the roof mounted AC's in my RV. With the Corona virus manufacturing slowdowns, there are no replacement AC's for RV's anywhere in the US this summer. This portable AC unit provides more cooling than the factory installed roof mounted unit. It works great. I will keep it in my RV even after the factory AC is replaced. This is the 2nd failed factory AC unit on my 4 year old RV. The portable will be great to have for future failures, or to augment my 2 units when we are in 100 degree AZ or CA days.

Bought this when my AC went out and it was a lifesaver. My only complaint would be that the window vent did not fit very well so I had to get some extra material to seal it. Works well I’m for rooms but not for big areas.

This A/C unit works great, I have it in my room and it keeps the whole room cold. Also it’s easy to install on the window.

I purchased this during power outtage and plugged it into generator until electric company restored power. It kept my family cool in a medium sized room.

I purchased this for my mothers room which is less than 250 sq ft. This unit is not silent but not as loud as some larger units. It did not make the room cold, but it made it cooler than without. I purchased a larger portable unit for myself, a few years back and this unit is easier to assemble.

It was perfect for my daughters room. It maintained the room feeling cooling and the noise from the motor wasn’t loud. You could sleep like a baby!

I have this air conditioner in my bedroom and it’s not as cold as I want it to be. I had a LG air conditioner but it stopped working, this air conditioner is not a good replacement. It does not cool the room as fast as the LG and doesn’t really the room. It also makes a lot of noise

I love my new AC, my room gets cooler, very easy to install, not to heavy and doesn’t make a lot of noise! I would definitely recommend this AC

I am using this unit in my garage. It will not cool in down completely but then again my garage has an open ceiling. It works well otherwise. I am planning to remodel my garage as some point do I am sure it will work better then. This unit would be great for a small bedroom or office.

I love this lil portable air conditioner it is ice cold has 3 separate modes and works wonderfully a lil noisy but it keeps you cool love it

Some complain that this unit provides insufficient cooling. Well, as they say, "your mileage may vary." My house is in central Los Angeles with no AC and all I wanted was to cool a top-floor 175 sq. ft. room during the heat wave. This unit kept it at a comfortable, constant 75 degrees (the temp I set) when it was over 100 outside. In other words, it's doing exactly what it's supposed to do. So why 4 stars? First, my experience is 3 weeks old so I can't speak to the longevity of the unit. Second, the install was not seamless. As others have noted, the kit they provide is not a "one size fits all" situation. Even though I have a conventional sash window, I had to cut down their flimsy spacer so it would fit. Further, the hose did not securely attach to the unit. I had to use duct tape to create a secure, tight fit. Perhaps there was a fitting missing (the instructions aren't very clear). GE (now Haier) can certainly do better than this.

Works great in our master bedroom. Cools our room quickly and stays cool when left on low. It isn’t as loud as other portable ac units.

Needed it to keep a small area cool. Does a great job. Easy to install, had it running withing 30 minutes of getting it in the door.

Very good for an older woman who has no one to help with a window unit. Doesn't work quite as good but you can wheel it around so you don't have to be real strong. You do need to be able to use a drill so you can install the piece in the window.

Nice size to bring with you to other homes, on vacation, etc. in the car. Easy to install, the HOSE CONNECTOR is excellent, no guess work!

I love it. Gets my room cold. I love the timer option. I set it everyday when I go to work so by the time I come back it's on.
