Perfect energy saver for those hot days, compact fits in closet when not in use.

Very quiet and compact unit, window mounting hardware for vent fits well in either vertical or horizontal position. Stores easily when not in use, and wheels from place to place smoothly. Great supplement for central air when you just want to cool one room and not the entire house - saves money! Seems well constructed and should last many years, I like the GE brand. Got on Daily Deal for $260.

This AC unit does the job. It cools my room and it’s not as noisy as other units.

The only reason i am putting two stars is because once i was able to duck tape the tube to the back and duck take it to the window to seal everything properly it did cool down my small room. I would return it if i could but they only gave a 2 week grace period. They should give us a month because it wasn't till week 3 that the tube kept falling off and noticed how poorly made this AC system is made for. It doesn't fit in a proper window either. Don't buy!

It works well in small rooms, but if you are looking for more cool air in a large room I would suggest a larger model. Otherwise I'm keeping the product because I'm using it in a small bedroom.

Kept a 12 x 14 guest room cool as promised throughout the worst of the summer without problems. If we get a second summer of success, we will have considered this to be a success.

Got this for my daughter’s room since her room is small (10 ft by 10 ft). It is working well so far and I got this unit in aug. Her room stays cool in this Southern California heat wave.

My ductless a/c was out of order and needed to be fully replaced. so I bought this portable a/c to use daily for the weeks before the new ductless a/c system could be installed for the house. I am satisfied with how this product works and it is easy to set up too. It is a good brand as well.

Cools our small room well, but I'd doubt it could truly handle 250 sq ft. I'd say more around 150 here in Texas. No leaking, doesn't need to be drained that often. Good product.

I have a 10X12 room (120 sqft) so this is a little bigger than recommended. I just leave the door open and it still keeps the room nice and cool all day...although sometimes it is too cold since I sit right next to it. I did wrap the hose in towels and bungies to prevent the hot air from the pipe heating up the room. It seemed to make it much more effective.

We put this portable AC to the test at a 112ﾟ in The Valley it was Still able to bring down the temperature to about 89ﾟ which is substantial considering the situation.
