It took several tries to install my new double oven. A new junction box had to be installed to extend the electrical whip to the 220 current, and I needed a carpenter to cut an inch larger opening in the lip of the cabinet, but GE will refund my $200 carpentry cost. Best Buy was patient and prompt in working with me. The wall unit is a gleaming and efficient addition to my kitchen.

This double oven replaced one that was 40 years old. We love the modern digital look and features

We love the oven. Only a few things we have noticed so far that are a little disappointment. The buttons are REALLY sensitive so when you try to set the temp or time it sometimes puts the number in twice such as trying to do 375 temp it will do 337 and you have to start over. The other thing is that the timer starts but only counts down the minutes so you don't really know that it has started as it doesn't change on the screen until a minute has passed. Our old over showed seconds so it immediately started counting down once you hit start. Otherwise, we haven't had any other issues with the oven that these two are very minor.

We got this to replace a whirlpool & wanted a convection oven. I would have loved it on top & bottom but I don’t use the bottom that much so it’s ok. Love the way the convection cooks evenly & in half the time. My only complaint is it take awhile for the preheat in convection. The control panel is very sensitive & barely have to touch it. I saw the stuff on the timer but you get use to it. Not a deal breaker for me.

It was so easy to buy this item from best buy and our sales rep. It took longer to load our information into their computers than to buy the item. Great experience.

Replaced single oven with this double oven model. One hour to install myself . So far very pleased with controls and performance of the oven. Only negative so far is that only top oven has timer feature and therefor the 4 stars instead of 5

The oven works fine, just has some things that irritate me about it. First, the oven door is so wide that when trying to get things out of the top oven, you risk burning your chest because you literally have to reach high and in to get whatever youre cooking. Next time, I'm getting an oven with swivel doors. Secondly, the alarm keeps going off after about 5 seconds that the door is open reminding me the door is open. I mean, I can't even get it from the oven to the counter without the awful alarm sound. Yes, there probably is a way to shut it off, but I haven't looked into that yet. Otherwise, the heating and cooking is good on this oven.

Love the GE double oven and the convention oven! We recommend!

Takes a bit longer to preheat than my last GE but all other features are up to par. Cannot illuminate just one oven, they both light up whether in use or not. That's being pretty picky. Overall it looks and runs great!

Excellent appliance. Easy to master controls for both ovens. Attractive appliance and appears solidly built. Have only used it to bake foods a few times, but the ovens appear to pre-heat in a reasonable amount of time and cook foods perfectly as expected based on the recommended recipe oven temperature and cook time.

This oven is great, my previous oven was only a 24, this is a 27 & provides that little extra space I needed to accommodate larger roaster pans. Cooks evenly and heats up reasonably fast.

So easy to use. Plenty of racks and cookes evenly in both ovens. Cooked a turkey and ham for Thanksgiving for 23 people and everything came out fabulous. Timers are great

So far, the GE double oven has met my expectations. Have not used the cleaning function. The black stream-like look complements my kitchen woodwork and the other black/stainless steal appliances. Historically, I had great experience with a previous GE double oven which lasted over 30 years.

The installers were courteous and professional. I'm completely happy with the installation.

We picked the GE because the Kitchenmaid handles were too obtrusive for the narrow area where our oven is located. The GE is a nice oven and we love the warming drawer feature, it is on the lower oven only. But with our other warming drawer we can serve a large crowd with hot plates. What we don't love is the GE seems to be cooler than our Kitchenaid. Even though the digital thermostat says 350 degrees, the cookies and meats don't cook at the same speed/time that our Kitchenaid did. Example, 350 at 12 minutes for cookies in the Kitchenaid, but the GE is 350 at 15 minutes. Once we get used to the GE style I am sure we will be very happy with the oven. But if I could have fit the Kitchenaid handles in our space, I would have purchased another Kitchenaid.

Spent a lot of time searching for a stainless steel wall oven to replace the old white GE Profile wall oven. Extremely happy that this unit fits into the cabinet with 0 modification. Convection is an extra bonus. Finally all appliances are stainless steel, the kitchen looks great.

Purchased a new oven based on excellent reviews. It is well made, easy to use, no problems at all. The installation from best buy was excellent as well. Highly recommend this oven AND installation from Best buy.

So far, so good with my double wall oven. I put it to the test yesterday by making 100 lemon squares, two hundred brownies and six dozen chocolate chip cookies. All went well!
