3 months in and already in need of repair

The matte finish is stunning and practical - no more grubby fingerprints. Capacity and storage options are outstanding. I was worried that the ice maker would not be able to keep up with the demand. We had to augment with a portable ice maker with our last unit. But the ice bin is always filled and it operates very quietly. No more clunking noise when the ice drops.

They consume too much space in the fridge. This new GE fridge-freezer has huge capacity and easy access. Still too soon to assess its long term quality, but so far so good.

Installer dropped one of shelf inserts for inside door cracking the plastic. Called store for replacement,no return call as promised. Sent customer service an email, reply days later said to call store again. Disappointing service. Like the refrigerator, ice making function is a little loud.
