    A very simple and elegant appliance. Displays all types of beverages nicely, keeps them cold and I really like the locking feature at the bottom to keep the kids out. The wood shelves are well done too!

    We received this as a wedding gift and were very excited about it, unfortunately, the first one arrived damaged, so we were shipped another one, which was also damaged. We decided to pick up the new one at the store, although we when brought it home we discovered multiple dents. The fourth one we picked up was damage and dent free, however, after just a couple months of use it stopped cooling and just would run without ever cooling down to the desired temperature. We luckily had the Geek Squad protection, so since it had been several months, we were able to return and exchange for our 5th one. I was very unhappy to hear that we would have to re-purchase the Geek Squad Protection on the new one because they said it was a new product and the old protection only covered the previous one. I am very disappointed at the hassle of this, especially since it was a wedding gift and would not recommend this product. We just picked up the new one so hopefully it lasts longer than a few months.

    Broken Machine, but Worse Service

    Fridge stopped working within 6 months of purchase. Okay - products break, but the warranty/service has been terrible! I've been trying to get a repair/replacement for over a month and keep getting run in circles by GE's service center. Have already stayed home for 3 days only to have the repair person never show up or contact me with a reason. GE then automatically reschedules with no contact to see if that works for me. Then you can't get in touch with them! Waiting on hold for GE for days at a time, only to get put on hold and kicked off the line. It's impossible to get in contact with someone who can help. Worst service I've ever dealt with for a product that broke a few months after purchase. Buyer Beware!

    Very Poor Quality for Top End Wine Fridge.

    I purchased the GE Wine fridge in April of 2020 from Best Buy online, the compressor/control panel went out just after the warranty expired in mid 2021, unfortunately for me i did not purchase an extended warranty and the repair was going to be $512.00. I paid $700 for the refrigerator new. The refrigerator fan works but since the circuit panel is non functioning the compressor wont kick on and the unit wont cool. Very disappointed in this product from GE. Too expensive for this lack of quality.

    Keeps wine and other drinks cool. I love the woos shelves but I'm worried about warping. We'll see over time.

    Do NOT Buy.. Not your BEST buy at All!

    Do not buy this! After 366 days of use.... the compressor went on this unit. We called Best Buy, they said call GE. GE said we were out of the window to help, by 1 day. Had to call handy man and he confirmed compressor was done, estimated cost to replace was more than the unit. JUNK. Backed by Terrible customer service from GE. Thanks for the scrap metal!

    This is a glass door refrigerator costing over $700. that is not any better than ones that cost under $300. It worked for 2 years and then died. The warranty is only for 1 year. So don't be fooled into thinking you're paying over twice as much as the next option for G.E. quality and warranty because you are not. Additionally in the 2 years that it did work it was very noisy when it cycled on.

We appreciate you taking the time to reach out, and truly hate to hear your beverage center is no longer working; we know how frustrating this would be, especially when you’ve only had it for two years. This absolutely isn’t the ownership experience we want to provide for you. You may want to check the circuit breaker or fuse to ensure adequate power is reaching the unit. Resetting the electrical components of the center by unplugging it from power for a couple minutes before reconnecting can often help resolve an issue as well. Detailed troubleshooting tips are listed on page 12 of the manual, which can be viewed on our GE website by looking up the model number. We hope one of those tips will help to resolve this issue, but if not our Service Department is available at 1-800-432-2737 and would be glad to assist. That department is able to offer assistance even if your appliance is no longer in warranty. Notice of the trouble you’ve had, as well as your concern with the noise the model made, will be sent to our Design team for consideration and review. We hope the center is back in good working order soon, so you can enjoy cooled beverages again without any further trouble!
