I got this in white to put in my small kitchen. It looks a bit retro with the rounded doors. Doors are glossy and smooth, sides are textured. Pros: quite roomy, lots of shelves and bins, quiet operation, separate temp controls for fridge and freezer, holding correct temps so far, leveling legs and rollers on bottom, no grate on bottom to remove and clean, study glass shelves, lots of space for everything, garage ready, energy star certified ($51.00 per year to run) and the cool retro vibe. Cons: vegetable bins are somewhat small and a bit flimsy; bottom shelf on door is pretty much useless as it can't be seen when standing up--it is very narrow and only way to get something is to squat down and due to its narrow depth, not many items fit); butter keeper very small. I took 1 star away for those 3 cons. Would recommend overall.

So far, so good. I have had my GE Refrigerator for about a month now, and it is working great. I love the layout - very user friendly. It is wonderful having the extra space after grocery shopping! I placed a thermometer inside both the freezer and refrigerator portions. Both are maintaining a constant temperature, even with some very hot days.

Nice big freezer. Good layout inside the fridge. I read lots of reviews and reports on other models in this price range & compared them before buying this refrigerator. I am curious why I hear it running more than other refrigerators? I have had it for seveeal months without issue. Keeps food in all compartments at good temp. The delivery crew could have been better. I had to insist they level the feet. They tried to tell me it was my floor. I had to point out to them there are adjustable feet and they were not yet set to match each other. I also had to collect and dispose of the packing materials which shoukd be their job.

Great fridge. hold temp. Has plenty of room. No light in freezer. Light in fridge seems ridiculously expensive to change. Other then that great price and value.

This firdge is good. Works fine and as its meant to. It did arrive damaged at the bottom though. It was not from delivery this was factory built damage. They just didnt screw the bottom plate to the hole it was to go to. It was just randomly in the bottom siding and was not secure. I almost took it back but I pulled it off straigtened it out and put the screw where it was meant to go and it was fine. The fridge fuctions and cools fine so far. No problems there. The overall build quality does feel cheap. The back covering the compressor and lines is just plastic. Its not metal like on an older GE model I used to have. Read some other reviews complain about the noise and this does not bother me. It sounds like a normal fridge should. It is not loud. I would recommend its just sad all companies want to charge you more for less of a product these days.

We like the fridge - seems very spacious for the Cu.Ft, size. Basic fridge without the bells and whistles. No light in freezer compartment (I knew this but may be an issue for some). One issue (we took a star off) is that it is louder than some when the cooling is working. If you have an open plan kitchen it could be quite noticeable. We put some sound insulation behind the fridge which took the edge off enough. I measured it at 41 decibels in front of the fridge before insulating, with the insulation took it down to 34 - which made it fine for us. But for a basic, efficient fridge, we like it a lot.

We're happy that you're enjoying the space that your lovely fridge offers! ! Newer refrigerators sound different from older models because they have more features and use newer technology. We recommend you review the "Normal Operating Sounds" section on pg. 18 of the Owner's Manual. This GE Garage-Ready Top-Freezer is compact, yet spacious inside. Both of the interior doors have shelving for large and small bottles or cans. There is a butter or cheese keeper on the top shelf of the refrigerator door plus two more shelves. The interior of the refrigerator has four shelves, including 3 pull out bins for storages of fruits and vegetables. These interior shelves are made of beautiful, clear sturdy glass that have plenty of options for spacing them any way that you wish. You can customize them to hold small or large food and beverage containers. This refrigerator can stand up to extreme heat in the climate where I live. It has kept food and beverages at the perfect temperature in my garage. I am pleased with the performance of this GE 21.9 Cu. FT. Freezer Refrigerator.

This refrigerator is great value, stylish and practical . Its timeless look is appreciated as is the outer special resistance to finger prints. The inside space is very spacious & cleverly designed with multiple glass shelves and plastic drawers to segregate food items according to temp to maintain freshness . Everything is neatly organized and accessible. It’s also good to know that these brands are energy efficient too !

I absolutely love this refrigerator! Running great so far. It is very roomey and it runs quiet. The shelves are strong and closed at the bottom so food items do not fall through. When you think you have run out of room you can move items around to find space. The drawers and shelves in the fridge are adjustable. Delivery persons were prompt, friendly, and gave us updates on delivery (had to reschedule due to weather then family illness). They were very accommodating. Thank you Best Buy. Highly recommend Geek Squad membership to receive free shipping and other discounts.

A old school refrigerator with ice box on top, fridge on the bottom. Fits the small space we have in our kitchen, we keep our vault in the garage. No frills but looks good and keeps things cool - frozen and refrigerated. Pretty easy to keep clean and is more energy efficient than the original fridge we had that came with the house. No complaints for the price point, would probably be better suited as a 2nd fridge for most or a primary in older homes.

Bought this GE 21.9cu.ft. Garage ready refrigerator for my garage. It replaced a Samsung (failed after <2.5yrs.) and could not get replacement parts for it. There is plenty of room in the freezer and refrigerator. Internal temp has been easy to maintain with slight adjust for ambient temp in the garage. Noise is less than the bathroom ceiling exhaust fan (10ft away, 110cfm, zone 0.8) I put in to help remove my cigar smoke, and I sit right next to the refer.

this GE refrigerator is decent in size and capacity which i like. However, there are two flaws. 1. it does not have a light/lamp in the freezer top area and 2nd it makes noise often and it is loud...difficult to zone out the output.

We have been quite happy so far with our new GE 21.9 cu. ft refrigerator. It’s 1.9 cu. ft. larger than our 32 year old Kitchenaid. The Kitchenaid left here still working but showing a great deal of its age. We just hope that the new GE will last as long as the Kitchenaid. The new GE is very quiet, roomy and it’s keeping things cold just like it’s supposed to. Did I mention that it’s quiet? It’s very quiet.

Fridge is nice, Spacious and the trays feel solid. It’s a bit louder than expected. What I really didn’t like, which was no fault of the fridge, is that BB got the delivery address wrong, and then after I called and spent an hour on the phone fixing it they never updated it. As I was out of the country this was a bit of an issue. They also unpacked it very poorly, and there were dozens of different bits of shrink wrap and plastic still wedged in the hinges and door, under bolts etc

Great refrigerator! I needed a new frig for the garage and the selling point was that it has 2 separate temperature controls, one for the refrigerator and one for the freezer. It has worked perfectly during our recent heat wave of over 100 degree temps. It is quiet (although I didn’t care as it is in the garage) and has lots of room. I also didn’t care that it was stainless steel but that is the only choice. It does look nice. I highly recommend this GE refrigerator!

Quick install and easy to work with; plenty of size and quite roomy inside. It fit into the limited space available in the kitchen. Works like a charm with plenty of room to spare. It should be energy efficient too according to info provided. Never considered replacing a GE fridge with another GE product but it seems to work nicely.
