Our basement is a little over 1000 sq. ft., and this unit does a very good job. In addition, it's quieter and has a more accurate humidity reading than other units we've used.

The unit is compact and fits nicely in the small space it was needed for. One issue is the bucket is not easily removable and replaceable.

We had so much moisture in our Apt that it was creating sweat on windows during winter season which had created mold. After purchasing this it brought down the moisture level in all rooms. It really captures the moist in air.

Only bought a month ago but we have been getting a lot of rain lately and so far this is keeping up nicely with the dampness in our basement.

It works - could use a bigger water tank, as it does need to get emptied more often than one would like. And it does generate some heat, which on very hot days is undesirable. But it works well.

A piece of junk. The BestBuy just delivered it today to my home, and it won't turn on. The display panel comes on for a second and then shut down. Pressing the Power button do not do anything. I paid about $70 for Geek Squad appliance service plan and called them twice and waited for long time to talk to premier support and no once answer the phone call. Now, I have to take it to the BestBuy store to return it. What a pain.

I haven't opened this, yet, but I have another one of these and like it so much that I ordered this as a second one.

Have this running in the basement, very quick to start dehumidifying the room. On humid days you might need to empty it out twice a day, on other days it will probably only need to be emptied out once.

Working great. Humidity levels back to normal. Air quality better.

This is the 2nd GE Dehumidifier I purchased in the past year. This was purchased as a replacement for my larger 50pint unit since GE dies not have a warranty replacement pricess. Instead they send you to purchase a replacement unit at your own cost then they will mail you a check months latter fir what they dean is a partial goid will certificate. When i picked this 35 pint unit up it was running much quieter and seemed to be better than the 50 pint unit. Both dehumidifiers ended up dying with the error code Eb which is for empty bucket. Well when this is running continuously hooked up to a drain hose, there wont be any watter in the bucket. This seems to be a common issue with GE Dehumidifiers. Overall I would stay far away from these GE Dehumidifiers. They will not stand behind their product plus you have to pay to dispose of these at the dump.

Does what it supposed to do. Can be a little bit noisy but nothing you cannot sleep over.

Replaced another one due to a lightning strike and so far it’s working great. It’s smaller than the other one I had and seems to be more efficient time will tell.

Emptying the bucket takes a little finesse. Definitely louder than my Frigidaire 50pt unit. Does its job though

Quiet and effective, this is exactly what I was looking for. The settings are perfect for whatever room I throw it in, and the timer works great. I am super happy I went with this brand and model.

We bought this after our kitchen flooded due to a bad dish washer. It has been impressive how quickly we were able to get things dried out with this machine.
