Terrific Cooktop!

I had a preference for a glass top rather than stainless steel - so easy to keep clean and very sleek looking in black. I also liked that the grates are not as high - overall extremely pleased!!

I ordered GE - 36" Gas Cooktop - Black on Aug 31st 2021 and was given delivery date of Nov 16th 2021 (2 and half month after order). Well, it was a long wait but we decided to wait. On Nov 15, got a call from Best buy to clean up the kitchen so installers can install on Nov 16th. Got an email on Nov 16th 2021 that the installation was cancelled and I was asked to call to reschedule. Guess what! Next appointment on Feb 16th 2022 (6 months from order date). Few concerns: 1. I should have been told about the 6 months wait time at the time of order 2. If 6 months wait time was unknown at the time of order, I should have been informed about further delays as soon Best buy learned about it (it is absolutely not acceptable to get a call a day before confirming appointment and then get an email canceling the appointment on the day of appointment) GE - 36" Gas Cooktop - Black may be good oven but the GE appliance purchase experience at Best buy is worst.
No, I would not recommend this to a friendexcellent cooktop and easy to keep clean!

It’s so easy to maintain clean and you don’t have to worry about stainless steel. My only regret is I wish I would’ve gotten it in all black instead of the combo stainless steel in black.
