Although I purchased the Black SS and somehow was given the Stainless Steel, it is a very well put together piece and feels quality. I will update the review with more photos and a more comprehensive review after some use.

Hard to tell from decibels listed on description but it is quiet and powerful. The turbo rocks too. I highly recommend. Worth spending the extra money for it.

It is nowhere near as quiet as advertised. I ised a decibel meter to verify this. The GE web site says it runs at 1 sone on the lowest speed. Not True. 1 sone equals 28decibels. This range hood had a noise level of 52 decibels on the lowest speed. Not good.
