Stove performance is great. Disappointed with the stainless steel finish as it scratches very easily. Also center burner high intensity heat burns oil spots into its black finish. Can't get them out no matter how hard you try.

Non stop problems with burners, and now ignition

We bought this appliance brand new for our new house. The burners have been nonstop problems.
The top metal discs do not sit properly unless carefully positioned on the burner support. The fires are unequal, hot on one side low on the other. The most common right front burner frequently blows out when you try to light it and you have to relight it several times.
now, the central burner ignition switch will not turn off. It clicks incessantly unless you unplug the stove.
One would hope that General electric would have better design staff and if not, they would be open to questions and suggestions from users with serious problems about how to improve their products.
I do NOT recommend this stove because of these endless problems.
