My husband and I knew we wanted the Slate appliances, because we love the color. When our electric oven decided to stop working (it was in the house when we bought it), we decided to purchase a gas range instead of electric since we had hookups for it. After debating between the classic range and a slide in, we decided to go for the slide in. We have a small galley style kitchen and the slide in really adds a feel of more space! It DOES sit higher than our previous range, because the edge sits on top of the counter as opposed to level with it. I am 5'4", and it still works for me, so other vertically challenged may have an issue. We also had a convection range prior to this, so we felt that convection was a must-have as well! Couldn't go without it! All in all, love this product!

I am very satisfied with my purchase. Everything about the stove is perfect; the only improvement would be a self cleaning surface.

Wife loves the 5 burners! The slide-in version gives the kitchen a custom look.

I been waiting for 2 years to buy this product. Now I bought it this year for my wife as Mothers Day gift .This is a wonderful give I can say I had given her.Being on sale was a plus on buying this product.Because this is more than double the price of the gas range we have in the house for 8 years .Having that old gas range for 8 years was not so bad at all. Along the first 4 years was a 100% fully functional,the remaining 4 years was only 50% .Because the digital system broke after 4years of moderate use.We use our range a lot of times because we love to coke especially when friends are coming.When the digital system broke,we were not able to use the baking system 100% .Takes a lot of times pressing it to work or not at all.Is the moderate cooking that cause it to break?Or the location of the digital system on the back/top part of burner? I would say 50/50.Because the heat from a working burner,heat from the baking oven and the location of the digital system is the cause.With this new product model ,all the problems from my old gas range are solved.The digital location is best located at the front .On that location it is freely ventilated and 100% far from a working burner and working oven.It does dirty, but that's how all the ranges are .It won't get dirty if it is not used.My wife is now happy to use this one for baking her new recipe.I'm expecting to use and enjoy this product for more than 20 years.5 stars for me.

I took a gamble when I first decided to purchase this stove because I actually didn't see it in person before purchasing it. I had read a lot of reviews on this stove and ultimately decided this is the one for me and I couldn't have been more correct. The ranges are very powerful, and the oven is very roomy. The functions are great and the best part is it will show you the temperature of the oven so you can have an estimated time of how long it will take for it to preheat, and the clock is still on display.

I had a induction top in my last home and electric double ovens. I miss my second oven. Oven heats up quick and good sizing of the burners.

Love the 5 burners! Can't wait to re-do our kitchen so that this range can shine!

Overall Good appliance. No mechanical issues. Never needed service. Love the self clean option. The only issue is 3 out of 5 of the knobs have stripped. The two end knobs are fine.

Researched all gas ranges, and considered slide in. Given I have always had GE appliances (Monogram or Profile), I decided on GE. The new SLATE color was a bonus. Remodeled kitchen and designed around this color. Saw pictures on GE site, after reviewing in store, and the picture in completed kitchen led me to slide-in model. Convection is a bonus, plus 3 oven racks.

This stove is amazing. The oven cooks better and quicker than any I have ever owned. The burners work wonderfully. The only thing I don't like because I am only 5 ft 4 inches tall is when I lean to clean the stove top I end up leaning on the touch pad causing something to come on when I did not want it too. Also because it is gas make sure your gas line is not center on the wall because it will prevent the stove from going all the way back against the wall. Check the installation instructions online.

This range is beautiful! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the timer doesn't count down in seconds.

We love the 5th burner and the convection option..

I would like to thank Stephanie who was the only one in two weeks who was actually able to do something to help me get my problem solved on the LG stove so I could send it back to the manufacturer. I am very happy with the new GE stove I was able to get as a result of returning the LG since the LG was leaking CO2. Thank you Stephanie. You were fantastic!!!

Great stove - its beautiful! Had a few hiccups and a missing baking rack but Best Buy made it right and although I don't cook and bake a lot, I do like to bake during the holidays - so the timing was perfect. Had to wait a couple of weeks for delivery because its not one the Best Buy in my town had in stock but it was well worth the wait. Now to cook some dog biscuits for the four legged friends and neighbors for the holidays

Centre round burner is a big help. So far no complaints. Lots of space and comparatively faster n even cooking than old GE xl44

Great stove, and takes a little getting use to the electronics on the surface but it cooks great!

I can't say enough good things about this range. I absolutely love the slide in feature and the top grates are very durable and look amazing in my new kitchen. I also really like the convection baking and the bottom drawer on the range for storage

I am very happy with this range. It overlays the counter top perfectly. The stove and burners work excellently. The 5th burner is a bonus and will be used quite often.
