Seems to be working well so far. Have had plugged in since I brought it home.

I love this dehumidifier as it pumps out the water to the drain!! No more emptying heavy pails of water. Would buy this product again!!

Bought one with an issue ("EB" on the display though the bucket is empty). GE refunded MSRP (not tax, disposal, or my time). Fine. Replaced it through GE, bought the same unit from Best Buy, received reimbursement check from GE. Same issue after several months on the new unit. Requested a full refund from GE but all they offer is to reimburse MSRP (not including tax) for another GE unit. Wish I hadn't bought GE and wish I'd not bought this unit. Meanwhile, a family member has a non-GE dehumidifier that's been kicking in the south for YEARS.
Benefits - It's fairly quiet, pretty compact, and looks decent enough.

Big Hit - The Narrow Hose!!!

Only 2 weeks in but it seems to be working well ... a great feature of this particular unit is the very long and narrow hose that it comes with ... it fits behind the furniture I have and is not that noticeable ... the hose goes under a small door that conceals my sump pump.

Works well out of the box - pump is a great help as allows you to use different locations and push the water into a sink or drain. Can not comment on reliability though GE products are currently recommended by Consumer Reports. Out prior "generic" dehumidifier lasted just over a year and died.

No complaints so far. Works well, very quiet, and it's great to just have it draining directly into my utility sink instead of having to empty a container every day or two as with my old dehumidifier.

Had to return due to the heat it pushed out. It did remove moisture from the air but did not help much because of the temperature of the air being pushed out.

So far it does what I need it to do which is to work with the smart sensor to maintain a small room with instruments. But this is a replacement for another GE model that died on me within 7 months. So ask me again in a year.

It pays to by a name brand and get quality. The filter was easy to clean and the set-up was easy. It pays to buy it in the store to be sure some delivery person keeps it upright. If fliped over the unit could fail. Anthing with refigerant needs to be keep upright or oil will distroy the compressor unit.

Junk! I am on #3 and this one works no better than the last 2. Each had a different problem. The last one the sensors didn't work, hence the dehumidifier didn't run when humidity was in the high 70's. This one runs for 5 minutes and then gives and error code. I have followed instructions for resetting numerous times with no good outcome. JUNK!

Stopped working after 5 months of use

We bought this on june 20th 2024, we used it during the summer and turned it off during the winter maybe november. We plugged it back in This summer and it keeps giving us the empty basket code but we have the hose connected for the pump. We took the hose out and it atill doesnt fill the basket and says to empty it.
