Unit stopped working properly after approximately 2 months with E6 error code. Intermittent function. Recommend purchasing Best Buy insurance if you are considering. Disappointed with GE for poor quality machine and Best Buy for not standing behind their product (2 week return policy).

My basement is very dry now and smells much better.

Stopped working after a couple of months. Kept throwing an error “F6” or something. Tried trouble shooting it multiple times and I just ended up taking it in for repairs using my geek squad plan but I wouldn’t recommend.

Horrible product. Failed to work within 3 months of purchase. Registered the product with GE. Cannot return to Best Buy and GE customer support is hopeless. Cannot reach anyone on the other end.

Bad - had to return quit working

Ran for less than 2 days and quit. Very cheaply made bucket. You have to hold it all together to dump water.

Great product. Makes the air in your house very dry

worked flawlessly for 3 months, now keeps getting an EB code indicating the tank is full. This is hooked to a hose for continuous drain
We are sorry for the issues you are having. The EB code indicates a refrigerant leakage has been detected. The compressor is turned to off immediately and the fan continues running for 3 minutes after it turns to off. This is a Return to Vendor warranty. don't believe it's a 14 qt. tank and there is no pump as stated in the description

Replacement dehumidifier

Purchased as a replacement for a older dehumidifier I have had no issues so far
It did take a day or two to figure out what settings I wanted but otherwise no issues I am giving it a trial run draining into a drain instead of the bucket seems to be working

This dehumidifier works perfect let's you know when to the water is full not heavy has wheels to move around and not loud at all and also it's a great size so it's good to store somewhere and won't take alot of room

Perfectly maintained units with just moderate use will fail after only a couple years. Don't worry, just keep buying replacement units at 25-50% price increases as the build quality continues to decline.GE is apparently okay with these units filling up landfills.
