The dryer that was in our home when we bought it seemed original to the house, and when it expired last month we weren't surprised. It was 25 years old. This dryer seems like a nice upgrade by comparison, yet it's priced comparably with other entry level gas models. It does what it's supposed to do well, I believe. It dries clothes completely and has a light so you can see if you scooped up all the socks and small stuff. I like that the lint trap isn't on top of the machine, which left all sorts of dust on our previous model. With this one you can just give the trap under the door a swipe and there's no mess. The fact that you can turn off the buzzer is a nice feature, I suppose. It has more settings than we use, but installation was easy, as these things go.

Dryer works just fine so far. I'm pleased. it is lots less noisy than the last one and I like the front loading with the lint screen in the front of the door.

GE make great appliances. I like the fact that the lint filter is easy to clean and that the dryer has a wrinkle care option. The dryer heats up well and its quiet.I will purchase GE again from Best Buy.

We needed a reasonable priced replacement dryer for a 10 year old GE Profile Gas Dryer 7.0 that the electronic touch buttons were failing. We wanted the model just below this ( -$50.00 less) but this one was in stock and we needed delvery quick. This is a basic old fashion gas 7.0 dryer. The auto dry sensing does not seem to work as well as the old model replaced. It is also a bit louder than the old one as well, but is located in the basement, so not a key issue. Overall this unit is a good replacement for the money. The vent kit and gas line just barely long enough to make the connections. ( Older ones better quality ) Pretty much a basic dryer. Great delivery time! So far so good.

Dries well, but takes a little longer than our old, non-GE dryer did, which may make shirts wrinkle a bit more. Very quiet. You need to also wipe the inside of the door down low where it hits the lint screen; otherwise, the door gets lint build-up.

This dryer is good size! Dries great!. Much faster than our old dryer.. great for quick wrinkle release when you wake up late and dont have time to iron.

Dries fast and you can turn off the buzzer which is pretty loud. We haven't had any problems with this dryer.

The dryer is working fine. My wife is happy because she said that t is almost silent as opposed to our older one that made a racket. We chose this dryer because we were so happy with the washer from the same company that we bought two years ago, also from Best Buy

Very good for the price. Bought it after the Maytag went bad and it would cost too much to repair. Dries like it should and seems to be more efficient than my last dryer (I expected this for being a newer model). The lint trap is a bit small, so you have to clear it after every run; otherwise you get the lint accumulation on the door (This is why I did not give it a 5 star). Overall satisfied.

I've had this dryer for a few weeks. It does a great job and there are just enough choices on the controls to get the desired dryness. I like the location of the lint screen and how easy it is to clean each time.

Gets clothes dry in a timely fashion, quiet. All around good product and works great

Great product, this is the second that I've had (new upgraded model) only thing is that there is about a 3 inch bump in the back of this model that makes it Not Flush with the wall.

If you are looking for a dryer, this is a great buy. Not lowest price but not outrageous either. Great mid range dryer.
