the featured setting were easy to figure out the drum is large enough for 16 pairs of jeans to dry in one load having an interior light is nice too it is quiet and has to be checked if the buzzer is not on, which the buzzer is very loud as I could hear it upstairs and at the opposite end of house good value for the amount spent, if I had to replace it for any reason, I would consider the same dryer.

This is a good dryer, with no bells and whistles but definitely does the job. It fits a lot of clothes and works well with the GE washer that I purchased. The only downside and the reason I did not give it a full amount of stars was because the lint trap seems a little flimsy and sometimes the lint goes back into the dryer. The other thing is that the door seems to be a little cheaply made so sometimes I have to really slam it to shut, but for the price I do not mind doing that.

Finally had to replace my old dryer, basically exactly the same but about 10 years older. It was still working, just making worse and worse noises. I knew from the old one that GE is a quality brand, so I was happy to find one almost exactly the same, and at the right price. I've had the new one for about a month now, and am very impressed. The inside drum is enormous, and it dries even the heaviest loads in about an hour. Lighter loads can take as little as 30 minutes. Bottom line, it's the one to get if you want a basic dryer that works. (Tip: you don't need a steam cycle to dewrinkle and freshen clothes, just throw them in the dryer for 10 minutes with a wet sock and a fabric softener sheet.)

I'm really happy with this dryer. It was one of the most inexpensive dryers I looked at, yet it does everything I want in a dryer. It has a large capacity, it drys the clothes quickly, and it even has a light in the drum.

Very disappointing. Start switch broke first week. Cheap to replace, but the mounting bracket is flimsy and needed to be aided with a homemade one. The lint trap design does not work well, and lint gathers at the door. Dried fine at first, but I think now there may be a coil burned up, as it takes way too long to dry a reasonable load. Had it less than 2 years, and is squeals so bad it wakes the family up, have to do laundry during the day. I am done with GE, although the trend to crappier designs seems industry wide. This one, however, is a loser in my book.

We just replaced our Maytag of 15 years with this GE model. After spending a great deal of time researching different dyers we decided to buy the GE. The drier is very quiet and dries a full load of clothes in less than an hour which is better than our last dryer however the lint trap does not keep the lint from flying around. With just one loads worth of lint, you open the door and lint is covering the door itself and parts of the interior of the drier. It is a very poor design and has caused us to switch the driver to our 2nd option the Whirlpool. Too bad...

works really good for the money. it may ot be quiet, but its light to mover around and cheap and gets the job done.

This is an awesome dryer, has great features and runs quietly and efficiently. Since purchasing it, my drying time has been cut in half.

We bought this dryer and the accompanying washer about six months ago, after a disastrous set of Maytags started having problems within a week of purchase. It works pretty well, with a nice selection of heat levels, care options, and the ability to turn the buzzer on or off. The only thing I don't like about it is the lint trap, which I thought was the least annoying of the available options when we were appliance shopping. This one was better than others that would leave the inner workings of the dryer more susceptible to dangerous lint buildup (fire hazard), but then the downside is that it has a tendency to get lint on whatever clothes are at the very front of the dryer when you open the door. In retrospect, I miss the Kenmore stack we left behind when we relocated and rented out our old house. Didn't know it would be so difficult these days to find a dryer with a lint trap that could be easily vacuumed clean, but didn't get lint on the clothes!

I love that the dryer lets me know by a buzzer that the clothes are dry, to save energy. I hate trying to clean out the trap---very difficult@

Big capacity, dryer is hot, so it doesn't take much time to dry laundry. Just be careful not to leave it in very long, and be careful about using the hottest cycle. It dries quickly on lower settings.

We just recently bought this when it was on sale for $339 and it was a steal at that price. It dries very quickly and is extremely quiet. Our old Kenmore would take 2 cycles to dry a large load, this GE dryies a huge load fast and the large drum makes it easy to unload. It's really a nice dryer with nice features. As some have said the Buzzer is kind of obnoxious and loud. I just turn it off, problem solved. I only relied on our old dryers buzzer to let me know I had to turn it on again, that's a non-issue here. Also the lint trap is different, but it works well. Seems to pull a lot of lint from the clothes, which our Kenmore didn't do as efficiently. As long as you don't fling the door open, there will be no lint flying around. Bottom line...this is a great dryer at a great price.

I bought this with the matching washer, it's quite and dries everything in very little time. Clothing comes out looking great. Large capacity to dry even my king size comforter with no problem, Very Happy!!

Does well with drying and wrinkling is minimal on the softer cycles.

This keeps up easily to my loads of wash,sometimes finishing it's cycles before the washer.

Great dryer and it runs very quiet.. My other was worn out and took several times to get clothes dry and was very noisy.

Got exactly what I wanted but not the deal that was agreed on. The Manager at Best Buy agreed to match Lowe's deal which included delivery & haul away. But when I went to make the purchase they backed out on the delivery. How embarassing as I was buying it as a gift and the recipients were right there. I had to quickly make my own delivery arrangements or pack up and go to Lowe's the next day as I did not have time to do both the same day. If you get them to say they will match a deal....get them to write it down....even if they are a store manager!

Love the heat and size, but had to have it serviced first month I owned. Squeeked like crazy!

This dryer is simple and not complicated. There are several settings to choose from for all the different types of fabrics. Great value for the money, well satisfied.
