    Was super excited to bring a couple boxes of these home as we’ve been looking into having these in the house for the conveniences the product offers. Easy installation/set up and bulbs are super bright. However, we have had nonstop issues with the lights not responding to turning on, off or dimming. We have reset these multiple times with no improvement in performance. We are disappointed in this product not living up to the basic expectation of what it offered.

    When they work they are great..... when they work.

    When they work they are great. If you have a power out or internet hiccup you can forget about using them for a while. What a pain in the butt to get them to reconnect. I have to reset each individual light with the "on off method" so Google Home can find them again. Even then it's less than 50/50 that they'll get working again. I'm getting tired of this TBH.

      Thanks for reaching out sorry to hear you have had these experiences. This is not typical behavior to have to reset each time. Sometimes simply rebooting or powering your google speaker off and back on after 1 minute will do the trick. If not please reach out to us at 1-844-302-2943 if this issue occurs.

    Need to be technology savvy to set up.

    These bulbs were anything but intuitive to install and it took several attempts to set it up and then failed two days later when I needed to do a factory reset. Although they are great when they work but I would not recommend these for someone who is not very technology literate.

    Originally, I gave this item 2 stars due to hard-to-use app and it's many problems. Even with it's many faults, you could ultimately set-up a schedule for your bulbs, etc even while connection from app to bulb was sketchy. Fast forward to June 2021 with their "new and improved" app and while the app recognizes the bulbs and outlets, you cannot edit or create schedules or "scenes" as GE calls them. So now the lights just turn on and off at the same time - I could have plugged the lamps into an old fashioned clock timer if I wanted that service. Very frustrating - especially from a company as large as this one. Crazy!

      Thank you for your review. The Cync app handles schedules a little differently. To view your schedules from the C by GE app, tap Scenes in the top right corner of your app home screen. Those schedules will now display as a scheduled scene. To create new schedules, first create a scene, then you schedule that scene.     Save your money.

    These are the worst “smart” lights you can buy. They don’t work half the time. I bought a c by ge smart plug to go along with them to act as a hub. It disconnects after a few minutes like clock work so I can access the light. My solution was to just use my google home system. Even that doesn’t work. The lights lose sync, don’t respond or just don’t work. I have two in my bed room and two in my living room. I wish I had kept the packaging bc I would return these. Save your money and buy something better. These will just give you a headache and turn you off from smart lighting.

    Horrible App, very slow. Alexa has trouble communicating with bulbs, just not good at all compared to others I have. Very frustrating to set up and to use.

    No HomeKit compatability

    Almost got saddled with these bundled with the Lenovo Alarm clock — these are NOT comparable with Siri, HomeKit, HomePod, etc. Would have been an immediate return.

      We are sorry for the inconvenience. Our Direct Connect light bulbs do not work with HomeKit, however our bluetooth LED smart bulbs work with homekit. -C by GE Support
