    I use this behind my couch and it works perfectly if you have side tables on the ends of your couch. Must have.

    I wish I had purchased this sooner! I was using a regular power strip for all of the TV paraphernalia in my bedroom - i.e. TV, cable box, Blu-Ray player. I had a mess of cords all over the floor and the power strip was a major dust collector. This plug got the cords off the floor and I was able to bundle them all together to make things even less cluttered looking. The ability to swivel the socket was perfect for the larger cable box plug.

    I needed a surge protector for my TV and audio equipment. I like this device since I can dress the power cables along the wall and connect them directly to the side by rotating the socket in the Surge Protector. It's also nice that the GE Surge Protector connects into the outlet center screw hole to give it stability. You must remove the old outlet cover plate to attach the Surge Protector.
