Looks great in the stainless steel frame and it's much larger than our old one Which makes it easier to remove hot bowls as you can slide a plate underneath!!

It has a lot of nice features, The only complaint is that the door release is sometimes difficult to open the door. Will be in touch with warranty.

First one was rolling thru years of excellent service. Then it got cleaned with a saturated dish cloth and water got in the seams. That caused a short and killed it in its prime. So, as long as you clean it properly, think it will be a solid choice. They liked it so much, they wanted an exact replacement.

It could easily have been designed to be compatible with the frame of the virtually identical GE microwave that it replaced. As many people have complained, the push button to open the door is very hard to operate which is probably why so many break. The function grid is nearly impossible to read since it has no lighting.

Clean look with lots of interior space for cooking

The installation kit is $$ as others have mentioned, but it's a must for a clean looking install. 4 Stars because the door open button is a PITA as others have mentioned. There are many others who have been complaining about this bad design for years but GE doesn't care. So if pushing the button hard while lifting the door up a smidge won't bother you, then this is for you.

This is a direct replacement and fit perfectly. You do need the additional faceplate though. This works so well that we've had to adjust our cooking times by at least 1/3 over what we had been used to with the old microwave. It cooks very fast. It also has a much larger capacity than the old model. We've had it a couple of months and are very happy with it.
