We purchased this microwave to replace the older model which is no longer being manufactured. If you do the same, you should know you also must purchase the coordinating trim kit; it is not compatible with the older model. Once we purchased the trim kit (JX7230SLSS), it was a perfect fit. They look great together and were an excellent replacement.
The inside of this microwave is dark grey. It's a nice, upscale look that compliments the other GE appliances we have in the matching set. The microwave works well and is very easy to use. The buttons require very little pressure; it is quite sensitive. We're happy with the product and would purchase again.

Basically the only microwave I could find that would work as a replacement for my cabinet. It's a great microwave. I find that it Cooks faster than recommended cooking times so take that into account. I've had to adjust cook times accordingly.

I only bought the GE since it fit my existing cutout to replace an old GE microwave. After only 6 months the door latch is broken JUST LIKE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE MENTIONED IN THEIR REVIEWS..

This was my second microwave the first came in dented on the top. The one con is the door closes hard and it sounds like you're slamming it close when you a not. Overall, my family and I enjoy the microwave. It works for our needs.

The push button on the door broke less than 2 month after purchase. The over all unit is very "tinie" sounding and cheap, even
though it wasn't cheap. I have always had GE Profile appliances and have never been disappointed until now ---and I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this......especially being a profile!

Have had this microwave for 1.5 years. Intermittently, it trips the breakers after you close the door and turn it on, about every few weeks. This has been happening for approx 12 months. Since we bought the trim kit, we are deciding weather to buy a new one or have it repaired. Costly either way. We love Best Buy, just this appliance is not the best.
