    I have only had it a few weeks and I love it. It’s very quiet and I love the inside bc it’s a gray instead of white.

    Inherent defect - Door open button

    Only took 10 weeks of use by just 2 people for the button that opens the door to break. U-tube pointed out that this is a common problem. Solution - I qualify for a rebate on a replacement unit that I have to pick up and install myself; no expectation that the button on the next one will work any better than the first because the button actuator still uses a cheap plastic part where something more durable (metal) needs to go.

    Not built to last! This GE only lasted 3 years and I've replaced it several times. I am done with GE.

    DANGER: Starts sparking after 15 months

    We bought this unit with our brand new build home. After 15 months it started sparking. We contacted GE but they just wanted to charge us $99 plus parts and labor. We did some research and found similar article of other who had this issue including starting fires. What has happened to GE - they have gone downhill.

    Arrived poorly packaged, like it had been an open box item. Dents in the sheet metal, and a concave back. It was a disaster.

    Burned out

    I would not recommend this particular microwave. I have had this one for less than a year before it started burning electrical inside the unit. I have never had a microwave last for such a short period of time.

    Ordered this to replace an older ge profile which we loved. Door was flimsy, horrible rattling sensation, seems like it was shipped with broken parts on the inside of the casing?
