I bought this as part of a kitchen remodel along with the Cafe Appliances fridge, slide-in range and dishwasher in Black Slate. I absolutely hate stainless steel appliances so was really happy to find this color and finish - more sophisticated than standard shiny black. The micro works fine - it's quiet, sensor cook function worked as expected for two baked potatoes last night. The interior is much roomier (taller) than I had expected, so that's a bonus. The only thing I am not thrilled with is the moderately cheap feel of the push-in door handle - get the feeling that it is going to be the first thing to fail...

The microwave works well and looks great! Hope they continue this brand.

My last one by them lasted for years. This one is as big a little darker inside but not an issue and is hotter. I love it. For my family it is wonderful and it gets a lot of use.

GE MICROWAVE 3RD one was a charm. After having the most hectic time with the Best Buy GE Microwave previous purchases I did go and replace the 2.0 cu.ft. with this 2.2 cu.ft. Delivery was perfect and the door does open. It's been 2 months now and so pleased with the appliance.

Great replacement GE for previous one that went out over holidays. Stainless looks great.

These are excellent products. We recently replaced one and were happy to find this still was available. CAUTION, though. Be sure you are getting the right model. This is the countertop model. It may look almost exactly like the model that can be mounted, but it is not the same. The old model could rest on a countertop or could be mounted. This cannot do that.

Needed a new microwave and I trust the GE brand. This larger one was actually $200 cheaper than the smaller one go figure but it works well. Is a nice addition to my kitchen.

This microwave is great for larger dishes or heating something quickly. It delivers plenty of power. The microwave looks great and is very easy to use.

Good microwave. But, I was trying to buy a unit that would install with a trim kit I already had. Not possible. GE makes minor changes each year to force you to buy another kit for a couple of hundred dollars.

Needed a microwave that matches our other GE appliances. Works well but a little rough to open and close.

My concern about my purchase is I can't find a trim kit due to being out of them. I'm really ticked over how hard it was to remove a sticker on the button screen which caused it to be scratched. Why could the company not use a sticker that has less glue on it. The screen is really of soft plastic. If your looking for one, get one with a glass cover where the buttons are. Easier to keep clean too. But, I think overall, it will be a good investment.

Good looking microwave with a deep profile, So far so good on the performance. Heats quickly and evenly. Very nice display on the controls and clock.

Previous GE Profile Microwave - Gray was out of stock and use this as a replacement instead. Previous microwave malfunctioned after 2.5 years of use. Builder's upgrade did not come with extended warranty and standard warranty is only 2 year. Purchased Slate microwave with extended warranty from Geek Squad for additional protection. Beautiful match to the trim from my previous built-in. Easy swap out. $100 more than Gray but worth it for convenience and availability within 3 days of ordering.

I received the order delivered promptly during the shelter in place. Appreciate that. However, the product was delivered defective. The light bulb is not working right from the beginning. Tried to set up an appointment to repair since I have geek squad membership. But the phone call redirects to website and website does not show any availability. Need help. Its difficult to use the microwave oven without the lights.
