    Refrigerator arrived with a ding in the freezer door and we asked for a replacement which turned out to be a wise decision. The freezer cools to 0 degrees with no problem, but the refrigerator after 4 days still only reaches a temperature between 39-40 degrees. Yesterday the water dispenser sensor stoped working also. A new replacement is scheduled to arrive this Friday, fingers crossed. We bought a digital and standard thermometer and verified the temperatures in both the refrigerator and freezer, in addition we placed another thermometer in a glass of water in the refrigerator. Several appliance repair sites suggested using the thermometer in the glass of water is one of the most accurate ways to check the temperature based on the water prevents any variations in the air movement in the refrigerator.

    GE Profile Refrigerator with Auto Fill + Max space

    I really like the set up of this refrigerator/freezer. And I especially like the shelves on the door of the ice compartment to maximize storage space. I also really like the auto fill sensor and adjustable tray that pulls out to fit larger items. I knocked off a star since my ice compartment door keeps freezing to the ice unit which makes it difficult to open with the plastic latch.

    Love this refrigerator!! It’s design is far superior to a traditional side by side fridge! A woman must have come up w/it! It is much easier to see & access items w/o giving up space! It is a winner!!

    Plenty of storage, even at counter depth. Our prior refrigerator was the same size, but was side by side and the freezer didn’t hold much at all. That is no longer a problem. Some reviews have complained about the noise. Ours is temporarily in our family room because our kitchen is getting repaired, and the sound is not a problem at all...even though it’s right next to where we normally hang out!

    For the price, I wish this product was a little better. We wanted to match our other GE Profile appliances, so we went with this one, the counter dept. The regular depth we felt might have been sticking out a bit too much. Well, that made a huge difference on how much space there is. There's hardly any compared to a regular fridge. I almost wanted to return it and get the regular one, but we had to leave the country for several weeks soon after. I like the shape of the ice, they are bigger, but they get stuck together in their molds, can come out together, bounce all over the place, and not even make it in your glass. We are picking up ice cubes off the floor constantly. You almost have to cup your hands to guide the ice into your glass. The water dispenser works fine, but the automatic fill does not always work will many types of cups or glasses. It doesn't fill enough, or overflows. The tray that catches the overflow of water stains very easy. I never had to clean our other one this much. It's also seems to be made very chintzy. I feel like someday it will break. The text on the buttons don't light up, so at night, you can't see them. The drop down tray beneath the butter storage is totally chintzy. We'll never use it. The finish on the fridge is great. It doesn't pick up oils as much, and is easy to clean. The overall look of it inside and out looks nice The shelves and door shelves are made well and seem sturdy. The freezer portion is once again really small compared to a regular size fridge. I understood we'd be losing space with this model, but there is a crazy difference. Finally, and it's a weird one, the plastic that came on it to protect it, it's so so hard to get off. We've had this fridge for quite some time, and we still don't have it all off. It's like they manufactured it with it one, where it's stuck between all of the pieces. It's a total pain trying to get off, and I'm honestly not sure how to do it the right way.

    I love my new refrigerator. I’ve never owned the French door style before and I’m thoroughly enjoying this set up. It is spacious and the led lighting makes it easy to see my groceries. The purchase and delivery of my fridge were wonderful. I highly recommend Best Buy and the GE Profile refrigerator.

    My refrigerator needed repair the day it was delivered. The freezer was not sealed properly, the right door needed replacement. Trying to contact someone for help was difficult to put it nicely, It took 5 calls (had to leave messages) with no call back ever and 2 visits to the store before anyone would help.

    Beautiful!! The best bang for your buck! For the smaller version it still has A LOT of space! The refrigerator gets amazingly cold in just seconds and the water filtration system is fantastic!

    I am overall pleased with the purchase. The one thing that I am unhappy with is the plastic covering on the doors is almost impossible to get completely off. They put the plastic coating on the stainless steel before attaching it to the door so it leaves plastic pieces btw the door and stainless steel covering.

    We love our new GE refrigerator. We would have given it a 5 star rating except for the fact that the filtered water is not cold enough. Our old GE (with the water dispenser inside) had much colder water.

    The refrigerator is spacious and looks great. Love the flexibility of the shelves, but the ice maker spews ice all over the floor when accessing, and the handle to the freezer drawer pulled straight off within two weeks of purchasing.

    This refrigerator is amazing! I was skeptical in purchasing only because of the reviews stating it was loud actually it’s not as far as running. The only thing that’s a little loud is the ice when dispensing but otherwise I love it!

    We've had this fridge for over 6 months and there are a couple issues. 1. When installing, the water line to it was kinked and no water was coming through, I had to tape the line to the back of the refrigerator to get the line to stay open. This was at the start of coronavirus lockdowns and I didn't know when they would be able to deliveries again so I just kept it but hope that it doesn't become an issue. 2. Auto-sense doesn't work right anymore. The autosense feature was great at first and I used it to fill up glasses with a simple press of a button while I was working on other things in the kitchen, however lately it's taken to overflowing the majority of the time. I haven't had the time to spend troubleshooting to see if there is an easy fix. 3. Handle kept coming off the freezer. When first installed, it was fine for a month or so. Then, the handle kept popping off the freezer. One time when it popped off it scratched the finish up some. I had to get a GE service technician to come out because for some reason I could never get it to stay on. It's been good since then but I'm constantly paranoid it'll start popping off again. 4. The water filters for this are idiotic. They put a pointless chip on them to force you to buy overpriced GE (Actually Chinese brand Haier) water filters at $50 each when they are actually just $15 everywhere else. Besides that though, the refrigerator has an internal clock that tracks exactly six months from filter replacement and counts down until that date (showing a display on the refrigerator for the last 2 weeks and consistently every day after). Once you replace the countdown starts all over again whether the filter really needs to be replaced or not. Otherwise it seems to work as it should.

    The counter deph fridge is awesome. It delivers enought ice on demand and fast. Also the freezer can hold alot more then expected. Ge has made the profile with so many options. I just learnex how to put my glass and it will auto fill it up. The stainless steel keeps finger prints off.

    I'm not thrilled with the ice maker. Also, it seems to smell odd. Having a difficult time getting it to smell fresh. I was not sure about purchasing this model, but was told it had few service issues.
