My prior GE profile dishwasher which lasted 15 years worked so much better. It washed and really dried the dishes in about an hour. The new dishwasher normal cycle with the extra drying feature takes about 3 hours. Without the extra drying all my dishes had water all over them. I guess the green new deal people got to GE. It may be more green but it runs less efficiently.

I was shocked to see the differences side by side when it came to insulation. The antimicrobial aspect is a nice touch as well.

Unfortunately, when dishwasher was delivered…….it was damaged! Out of frustration, I decided to not re-order another one and wait for install again. I just repaired the dishwasher that I had. I can’t really rate this item.

GE Profile Dishwasher Disappoints

While Best Buy's delivery and installation was great, the machine itself was a disappointment. Its racks were lightweight and didn't hold bowls correctly. The bottom rack did not track smoothly. We were able to get it exchanged for a much better Kitchaid dishwasher.
