This dryer is a god send! It drys fast, and is big enough to dry comforters. Perfect for families!

I absolutely love this dryer. I am impressed with all the settings options. The last dryer I had I used the low setting and my clothes would shrink. This dryer has a sensing feature with only adds heat as needed. I can dry all my clothes now without worrying about shrinkage.

Well, I used it for almost 2 months before writing the review. To start off, it requires multiple cycles to dry off clothes. Just last Saturday, a full load of wash (mixed bag), sweat pants, jeans, T shirts and socks took 3 cycles of 2 hours each, 6 hours to dry off! Ridiculous! I would not recommend it to anyone. Secondly, the door lock is cheap and it’s made with inferior quality. To open and close the door you need to hold the dryer with one hand so that it doesn’t move. Very poor design.

Do not buy, at least in this color. The dryer is all scratched up, after only 1 month. You can't even set a detergent container on it without leaving marks. Love how they was and dry but I wish I bought white.

I have to put it on 90 min setting 2 times just to get my clothes to dry and im not even doing big loads, sometimes just 2 pairs of jeans, u4 shirts, a towel, some socks and underwear. I already called GE they sent some dummy out who blamed it on my vent being clogged but i just cleaned it out and my old dryer from 2013 did not take this long to dry a huge load before cleaning my vent so he doesnt know what hes talking about. Also every time it stops drying there is so much lint all around the door like its not all going into the lint catcher.

This set is very loud. It’s large but very noisy. I wouldn’t recommend this set with someone that has a open floor plan in there home. The washer wash’s hood but to loud. The dryer is really loud as well.

Overall, this GE Profile dryer works really well. It dries clothes quickly and evenly, and I like how it matches the washer in Diamond Gray — looks great together. The only downside is the Eco Smart feature, which basically means “half-dry clothes.” Turn that off ASAP for best results. Update: After a few years of regular use on High Heat, the heating element ended up melting an electrical wire. I spliced in a new wire and it’s running perfectly again. Even with that hiccup, it’s still been a reliable and powerful dryer that gets the job done!

This GE Profile dryer has been everything I was hoping for. The 7.4 cu. ft. capacity is plenty big enough for anything I throw in it — towels, bedding, big family loads — no problem. It dries evenly and fast. The Sensor Dry is a lifesaver. It knows exactly when things are dry so I’m not wasting time or energy running extra cycles. The Sanitize Cycle gives me peace of mind for stuff like gym clothes and kids’ laundry. Everything comes out feeling fresh and totally dry, without being overheated. I also like the smart features — I can check in on the cycle from my phone and get notified when it’s done. Super convenient when I’m running around the house or outside with the kids. It looks sharp too. The Diamond Gray matches the washer and gives the laundry room a clean, modern look. Quiet, powerful, and easy to use — no complaints at all. If you're on the fence, just go for it. This thing gets the job done.

This model can have some issues with a heating element, but it’s a quick fix for the technician and otherwise works great. Maybe just pick up a little extra warranty.

I bought this dryer because I wanted a matching set. My washing machine died on me. This dryer is great though. It definitely holds more than my old dryer and if very quiet and effective.
