Missing piece to order. Best Buy took 6 weeks to begin to act in my issue. Still not resolved. This review only has to do with the customer service. Already owned this item (which broke) that encouraged my re-purchase of this item.

After a year and a half and 4 different machines. I can tell you the quality of the machine is horrible. It will not last. From squeeling all the time from the beginning of ownership to sensor and even wifi issues this thing has it all. Does make great ice but be sure to keep a good warrenty cause you will be let down. Swapped mine a week ago that just quit working all together and even upgraded to the newest model. Day 1 wifi wouldnt setup (only nice for scheduling). I overlooked that just to get making ice. 1 week later its quite working and has the dreaded "add water" issue. I'm done

Only buy this ice maker if you are ok with the loud screaming noise it makes.

We recommend reviewing the normal sounds that you may hear from your Opal ice maker in your use and care guide found on the website (page 13). If your ice maker is making a noise/sound that is not normal please contact Opal Support at 866-907-6718, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, EST. We are confident they will be able to help.
