Anyways the ice bucket holds plenty of ice I like the ease of the on/off/clean button it's a sensor and you you just have to tap no pressing.but it is pricey I would wait for a sale. But I would still recommend.

This was a good investment

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Within 2 hours of using this machine (after the cleaning cycle and everything) it began making a terrible screeching sound, stopped drop ice, and started spraying water on the ice that was already there. After looking some stuff up online, it seems to be an issue with defrosting and the internal auger is getting frozen in place? I spent too much $ for it to start wearing out the internal gears in 2 hours. I’d caution purchasing this model rn.

Posted .When an Opal is in need of defrosting, it may start to squeak as ice starts to build up around the mechanisms. The Defrost cycle is automatic and may take 10 to 45 minutes. This is normal. What is not normal is if your Opal is going into Defrost mode too frequently, for example, every day, or goes into Defrost but there are no audible sounds indicating that the auger is frozen. If this happens, it is highly likely the air vents are blocked. If airflow is constricted, the machine will not produce ice normally. Make sure there is a minimum of 3" inches clearance on the back and the sides of the appliance to ensure proper airflow.
