Door didn't completely close, light would not go off. Microwave would not begin to cook. Returned the next day.

We're stuck with this microwave because this is the size and trim that we have for our built in, but this is our third one in 8 years

Replaced a similar unit that had two major warranty repairs. This one seems to be fine. Time will tell.

I had one of these in the past and it broke after a year, hoping this one lasts longer.

I bought it in Jan 2016 and it stopped working after 14 months.

Coffee boils over on beverage setting auto setting cannot adjust

I purchased the microwave in Oct' 2015 for my new home. Just after 15 months, the microwave stopped working. From the beginning we had issues with this microwave as it would warm the food very slow. I have never seen any microwave stopped working in my whole life- I used GE and LG microwaves in the past, and had to throw them after using for 10 years to get newer ones, but they were all in working conditions. This one stopped working just after expiration of warranty period. I had to re-purchase the same microwave (this time with extended warranty) because I also have the trim kit matching this microwave. I would never recommend anyone buying this microwave.

So the product its self is nice. My issue is that we had to replace the same model that was only 2 years old. Only lasting 2 years is not acceptable in my mind.

Less than a month of household use and the microwave displayed a message "keypad shorted call service " Took about a month for GE to arrive with the part. We will see how long it will last.

I have tried two of these microwaves during the past few years. It is mainly used to reheat, rather than cook, in. So I would describe it as used minimally. Both of the Profile countertop microwaves started making lots of noise after about two years. They will keep running, with the noise, for another year and then they stop working. I like the size of this microwave, but for the price, I would think that it would last longer.

We had a similar microwave from GE for over ten years and when it went out we figured we had gotten our money's worth. Trying to be loyal, we get the exact same one, again GE and again from BestBuy. Lasted until just after its warranty expired and died. I thought being an elite plus member might mean something but nope.

Purchased this microwave to replace an existing GE. I was hoping to use my old trim kit with the new microwave in an effort to avoid buying a new one, but of course, it doesn't work. $200.00 for a new trim kit (if you have to have one) is enough reason to avoid this microwave; however, the microwave is overpriced as well: 1) It's very loud 2) It looks like it was designed in the 80s 3) The door feels "clunky" when you open and close it Needles to say, I returned this unit (with a $48.00 restocking fee). I purchased the Panasonic 2.2 cubic foot. It was much cheaper, more modern looking and way more quiet. One other note: similar to previous review comments, my microwave had a small dent in the side upon delivery.

Microwave caught fire (electrical in the microwave components). Model has been discontinued, so purchased the same one (new model number) $525 and of course the trim kit isn’t compatible. So now it’s another $250. They build junk so you have to replace it every few years - charge a fortune for it - and make sure you have to spend-spend-spend by changing alignment of the screw holes by 1/4 of an inch.

Very unreliable keypad. It lasted only 2 years. Most of the key don’t work anymore. Which ones do changes every day.
