There are quite a few things I dislike about this refrigerator: There is one less shelf in the fridge door than my previous side-by-side, and I miss it terribly. The bottom veggie drawer is super small. It’s half as deep as the other drawer and doesn’t pull out all the way. It is full with barely any veggies in it. The deli drawer only pulls out halfway making it hard to find things if it’s full. The shelves have a plastic lip all around the edges that is rather high, so you can’t set things all the way back or all the way to the side, so you lose storage space on each shelf. The top shelf loses a lot of space due to that part that sticks out. The freezer is so small, much smaller than my previous side-by-side counter-depth refrigerator. The water dispenser area is too short for tall glasses, we are constantly spilling water trying to fill them up at an angle. The button to switch from water to ice is rather hard to push. I’d much prefer two separate areas for water and ice, as it’s so much easier to move the cup over rather than push a button. The stainless steel stains very easily. The installer must not have leveled it correctly, because the doors do not close easily if you give them a gentle push, you have to make sure to push firmly to shut the doors. I wanted a side-by-side, counter depth fridge so my choices were limited and reviews on each were pretty bad, but I wish I’d gone with the Kitchen Aid like I had before. It broke after only 5 years and they had stopped making parts for it already. Seriously, after only 5 years! I was so mad, I vowed not to buy one again. Wish I had, as I liked its design so much better. Too many things about this one frustrate me.

Just moved into new sub-division and the builder basically pushes GE Elite. We bought all GE from the builder with the exception of the refrigerator as I knew I could purchase from Best Buys for less money than the builder charged and they would install. All went great. Best Buys offered a great price, good delivery schedule and so far all is great in refrigerator land. There are better fridges our there but for the money this one is very good.

The unit was delivered on time and set up more quickly than expected. Impressed with how quiet it is in both normal cooling and ice making modes. Liked the quality of the drawers, the pull out shelves and the fold out wire fronts on the freezer door shelves. A big plus was the BestBuy price match which enabled the purchase of an extended warranty at no additional cost.

Nice finish and very quiet operation; so far i would recommend this refrigerator. The water output in the door is very slow, so we will have to see.

We replaced a 10-year-old Cafe version of this refrigerator and they basically just updated the lighting to LED and made the water/ice dispenser a bit sleeker. We’re happy they didn’t mess with success too much because we had an awful experience trying their French-door model, which doesn’t seem ready for prime time (at least the two we had delivered were poorly made).

It is a really nice fridge for someone who wants a counter depth model. I ended up returning it and getting the biggest version of this fridge which was about 6 square feet bigger. The bigger model sticks out from the counter a few inches but it is worth it for the extra storage. But if you don't care about having the extra space and want a counter depth this one fit the bill.

The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because GE does not provide a beverage holder on the door like they did with the exact same refrigerator I bought 15 years ago. That was such a key feature in utilizing the space inside. Other than that, I love it!

Love the ice/water feature in the door. So convenient! Easy to clean shelves. Stainless is tough to keep fingerprint free.

First refrigerator delivered with damaged rubber seal on freezer door. Repairmen sent out but did not replace seal. Suggested that we get a new replacement refrigerator. Second refrigerator delivered on 09/02/2019. Rubber seal fine but frost still builds in freezer compartment. Will contact customer service again regarding this problem.

The crew who delivered the refrigerator were really bad left tape on, parts just sitting in it, so only can advise on size. As it is not balanced and ice maker was not connected correctly. It is a counter size and not as nice as my French door one, Very difficult to put anything large in it such as a sheet cake would not fit.

This has been my 3rd GE Profile at my 3rd house and they have yet to fail me now. It keeps everything fresh and cool. The quality is amazing and the finish matches all our other appliances.
