We traded a 30+ year-old fridge for another large fridge (stainless steel), but then returned that one to get this counter depth fridge. Super happy with the slate finish....not so happy with the handles. GE should consider making the handles more of a brushed finish so one doesn't have to wipe them down constantly to keep clean looking. Lost some fridge space with the counter depth, but gained an extra door shelf plus option for the drop shelf - all is good for organizing. The freezer portion is the same cubic foot size as the larger fridge we returned. Pretty easy to organize. Even has a small section on the actual door for smaller items that you don't want getting lost in the drawers. We don't have water hooked up so can't speak to the water or ice cube functions. The downfall of this fridge is that it is louder than any we've had, and with an open kitchen it was really starting to bother us. I did research and found other complaints about the noise, and found there is an available "stop compressor noise" kit/repair. So...repair people are coming out next week. Sure hope it helps, because overall I'm very pleased with the fridge.

I like GE profile series. it's a great refrigerator. not only it offers counter depth option, compartments are well proportioned and designed. The waterline is inside of refrigerator and the freezer is on the bottom and has a ice maker. Highly recommend.

Meets all my requirements. Shelving is wonderful and space in both parts of refrigerator is enough for everyday needs and for parties when more space is needed. Large shelves on doors are terrific for accommodating extra needs for food storage.

The slate color of this new refrigerator goes with any kitchen decor. It hides fingerprints well.

We replaced an old GE Profile that we were very happy with. The new GE Profile was similar and we could not be happier.

like the adjustablity of shelves and bifold doors. extremely happy with gray finish.

I love this fridge. Great temp control. Inside is as nice as the outside. Just a heads up, the sides of this are actually black, not stainless, if that's important to you.

Three service calls since it was delivered a month ago. A loud, low frequency droning noise emanating from the refrigerator. The service tech found a GE service bulletin that identified the noise from the compressor. This required a retrofit with a 'stop compressor noise' kit from GE. Rather than correcting the problem at the factory, GE continued to sell this appliance with a known defect.
