I had a midrange kitchenaid that I had become truly dissatisfied with. I’m one of those people that doesn’t sort silverware and doesn’t wash the dishes before loading them into my dishwasher. The Kitchenaid was not compatible with my dishwasher habits, and so the search began. Reviewed.com marked this product as being the absolute best cleaning dishwasher in their lineup, if you’re ok with paying for some extra bells and whistles. I have now used every bell and whistle, and I can honestly say this is the best dishwasher I’ve ever owned. I have devised a test. I had a Bosch in my last house that I could wash a frying pan loaded with bacon grease along with all the other dishes and not smell bacon when I opened the dishwasher. The Kitchenaid failed miserably, but the GE performed flawlessly. Not only was it able to eliminate the food particles and high quantity of grease, but also not to deposit it on any of the other dishes. I love the third rack for travel mug lids and cooking utensils. The bottle jets are also fantastic for travel mugs. I have white plastic ones that are terribly coffee stained, but the first run through with the bottle jets and they got two shades whiter on the inside! This dishwasher is silent. I have 14’ high ceilings in my kitchen and my old dishwasher would drone and reverberate throuought the kitchen. This one chugs along, playing a soft, pleasant chime when it’s done. I love the status indicator. It tells you what phase of the cycle the dishwasher is in, in actual words! The amazon integration is spot on. Whenever I run low on dishwasher pods, it automatically reorders more. It does the same thing with rinse aid. I love that I can ask Alexa if my dishes are done yet. All in all, this dishwasher will NOT disappoint you and if it’s in your price range, buy it without hesitation, but get the protection plan. Anything this advanced will have a problem at some point.

This dishwasher is so quiet we can't even tell that it is running. The dishes come out very clean and dry. The upper third rack for flatware is great and allows us to use the extra space in the bottom rack for other dishes. We haven't yet used the bottle washers, but it is nice to know that they are there for when they are needed. There are many different ways to configure the racks and tongs for a wide variety of plates and bowels. And the racks slide so easily that we have to be careful not to slam them in, since we're used to hard-moving racks from our previous dishwasher. Quiet, easy and efficient... very nice addition to our kitchen.

Love the look of this dishwasher with the hidden controls and inside with the stainless steel. Having used the dishwasher approximately 10 times, it seems to work well. The third shelf at the top is convenient for extra silverware and small items. Also, the jets underneath the silverware basket cleans the silverware much better than without it.

Initial issues but solid unit. I believe the installers messed up and the drain pump was noisy. Had to exchange for a new unit and this time the installers did it right. Quiet and cleans like a champ! No need to rinse before loading...PRICELESS!!!

The upper or third tray was a real nice addition. Also the glides are very nice on the all trays. It sure makes very little noise.

Replaced another GE profile dishwasher about 12 years old. New features like quietness is incredible I cannot hear it running when standing beside while washing dishes. So many jets it cleans better. Washing cycles are plentiful. Most take longer than previous

Very quiet and cleans really good! Nice to be able to adjust the racks for larger items.

I bought this floor model at a bargain price. It had a slight dent that you can only see if you are looking at it at a certain angle. It is very quiet compared to the one it replaced. The dished come out clean. I love the top shelf. The price was great

We purchased this to replace our 22 year old GE unit. It still worked but we decided new appliances with stainless steal was needed. Therefore we replaced them all. Really like the extra drawer near the top. Makes loading and unloading of silver ware much easier. Would buy this unit again.

This GE Profile Dishwasher is so quiet...you do t even know it’s running! The cleanliness of our dishes is more than we ever thought...great purchase!

we have fitted our entire kitchen with GE Profile. New Fridge, Microwave, Stove top and oven. We needed a new dishwasher and bought the GE Profile. First the dishes would not dry very well and there was a lot of water once the cycle was complete, 2nd the soap pellet would not be completely used up so all the dishes were soapy. we have since returned this and bought a kitchen aid. also at the same time our 14 month old GE Profile Microwave died and we did not buy the extended warranty so we have now bought a new kitchen aid microwave. i was told that GC microwave's are known to have major issues with the heating element and they die every 12 months or so.

I love the secret top rack that holds knives and lids for Starbucks cups! I also really like the fact that you can adjust the middle rack for glass height. And finally my favorite feature is the under the silverware rinse and 4 glass rinse nozzles, very helpful for wine glasses!

So very quiet and we are so happy with it. It is easy to operate.

This washer was a open box, had some issues with it before it could run, was dropped!! But Was able to fix the items that were bent! Works good so far, only ran it through a half cycle just to make sure did not leak

I picked this dishwasher because I wanted a quiet machine. I was not disappointed. It is practically silent. Only sound is a faint trickle when drain.

To spend $1348 on this and get NO heated dry as claimed in specifications is a major issue for me. I called service and he claims it is working as it should be and that I need to use hotter water when washing. As if that will affect the drying. I keep my hot water heater set to 110F. I turned it up to 140F and then ran the dishwasher. He said not to open it until the entire wash cycle is complete. He said to run it when going to bed and not to open it until morning. I DID all of this and the inside of the dishwasher is still dripping wet, water running down the sides, conducive to growing mold and mildew in Florida since we only run the dishwasher 2 times a week. The repairman DID tell me there is no heating element in this dishwasher as in the past due to government regulations. But he said there is a heater in the motor, unseen, which doesn't work like the old heaters. This unit doesn't heat water to optimal temperatures as past dishwashers did. So really, the government is making us turn up our whole house water heater just to wash dishes? The whole things sounds fishy to me. I am extremely unhappy that I paid this much for a dishwasher that doesn't work near as well as the 12 year old Kenmore I got rid of. I had to get rid of it because we did a whole kitchen remodel and it would have been silly to not replace the old one with a model that matches the rest of the kitchen. GE should be ashamed to sell this high end model with advertising specs stating "heated dry" when there is none. In fact the selections available when running it state "power dry" on or off. That is NOT heated dry. Did you ever use a hand blow dryer in a rest room that barely blows cool air and you think you could blow on your own hands as effectively - it doesn't work? That's the effect of this dishwasher dry cycle. Horrible model. GE should address this. DON'T buy it! By the way, Best Buy's installers were no good either. They placed the drip detection tray on the floor instead of in the slot where it belongs - fixed by GE repair. And they left rubber parts on the side where they don't belong in my installation, impinging upon the door closing properly, also fixed by GE repair. NOTHING can solve the poor drying ability of this washer. There's no reason to keep my water heater at 140 and still have water all over inside the dishwasher 12 hours after starting it.

This unit is truly quiet and performs well! Easy to install.
