This model is similar to a less expensive GE model we had before, and just as quiet. Don't have to turn the TV volume up when we run it. Utensil basket it a lot sturdier than previous one. Cleans everything well - especially if you use Rinse aid. My only complaints are the long cycle - 2 hrs with heated dry, 3 hrs with steam - and the lack of a door lock, but nobody has them anymore. In previous model the bottom of the utensil basket broke after a couple of years. Let's see how long this one lasts. Bought it as part of a package with discounts and GE rebate, so it was a great deal with 0% financing.

I would call this a mid-grade dishwasher with enough features to satisfy most people. It's INCREDIBLY quiet and you'll be hard pressed to hear it running until the few times it drains during the wash and rinse cycles. The dishes are really clean, and the silverware caddie with it's individual slots is much better than previous models where you jammed all the forks, knives and spoons together. The only minor issues are the top-mounted controls which take time getting used to (if your prior unit had front-mounted controls), and it seems to have a little less internal capacity than my previous dishwasher which was the same external dimensions. However, you'll get used to the controls quickly, and the decreased capacity is the result of adjustable racks optimized for cleaning and flexibility. Other than those items, so far it's an excellent bang-for-buck and I'm hoping it'll last 11 years like my last GE Profile! Highly recommended!

Beautifully designed. And quiet! I love that! I like the controls on the top. My older one had them on the front, and when I leaned against it, it turned on. Much better design!

I really like the way this dishwasher cleans, but I don’t like the way the top rack is designed. It’s difficult to fit items other than glasses/mugs in the top rack because of the way the prongs are laid out. While the seaparte spray cleaner for the silverware works well, there’s not as much room as my previous silverware basket. That being said, it cleans better than any other dishwasher we’ve had and it’s very quiet.

We purchased this D.W. to match all of our appliances. Its extremely quiet and cleans well. The only drawback is the pod residue left Every time in the soap dispenser, which leaves a mark on the door.

Definitely would recommend this dishwasher for a large family. Plenty of space and room for plates and pans in the same load. Dishes come out cleaner than any other dishwasher I have ever owned.

We used our new dishwasher for the first time yesterday and my wife asked me if it was running. It was extremely quiet and did a great job of cleaning.

Exceptionally quiet, upper basket is low enough to put large bowls in while the lower basket is still big enough for big pots and pans. This is a super unit.

Looks beautiful and cleans well. No residue left at the bottom.

Large capacity. Very quiet, had to listen closely to ensure it was on and washing the dishes. Installation quick and efficient. The techs knew what they were doing. This is not a big negative but it would have been helpful to receive an owners manual. Called GE, received within 10 days. Nice to have a reference in hand. Sales team was very helpful and showed significant interest in getting us exactly what we wanted.

This dishwasher in nice and quiet and Everything comes out clean.

So far we are very happy with our new dishwasher. It cleans the dishes well and runs quietly.

Neat design. Quiet operation. Has lots of functions.

Seems to be as good as the Specs. Don't use rinse, so I get spots on some of the washed items. Plastic items don't dry, but overall nice machine. Almost sound-proof

Quick install works great so far only problem is noticed a scratch on the front whe the sun shined on it

Decided several months ago to go back with all GE appliances. I had been without a dishwasher for years (about 10). This unit is fabulous. Very versatile with lower racks which lay down for extra large rosters, etc. I thought I wanted the third rack, but with all the power boosters on this unit, you just do not need it. Super quiet, just absolutely love it!
