Good Replacement

I like the black racks--it adds to the beauty of the inside. I give my new DW 4 stars (instead of 5) only because I just miss the space of my old DW--the rounded corners of the new DW take just a smidgen of space away in the interior. But it works as well as my old DW did, and for that I am grateful. Thank you.

We replaced our old dishwasher that was supposed to be one of the best with this one and can't believe the difference. Machine is quite, and you really don't need to prerinse.

There are individual spray nozzles for each glass. You do not hear it running which is an added benefit. The controls are hidden once you close the door; sleek & nice clean look.

This one has so many spray jets I suppose it would be impossible to make quiet but I prefer clean dishes over quietness!

However, we are really disappointed with its lack of drying abilities. We have tried several settings and always include the power dry option, but the dishes are still very wet. They won’t even dry after I pull them out unless I rinse off the dishwasher water that was on them. The whole point of getting this dishwasher was to get something so we didn’t have to rinse/wash anything, but here we are. I had it at 3 stars, but my husband put it at 2 because of GE’s commercials talking about how drying is part of the cycle and that all GE dishwasher do that.

But I would be if I paid full price. Doesn't dry very well, and the guts seem cheap, but that's how everything is made today.

It is smaller than previous unit that we had. Geek squad had slight difficulty installing it Major issue that I have noticed is an inability to adequately dry the dishes. After completion of cycle there is significant moisture/water droplets that remain on dishes. We are trying different Wash/dry settings to resolve this before switching to a different unit.

Cleans dishes reasonably well. Though it does leave some droplets of water on dishes after drying process is over.

Everything is cleaned and mostly dry unless there is a flat horizontal surface that standing water can pool. In those cases it isn’t completely dry, but it’s still clean. This doesn’t bother me at all though so I love it!
