This a very quiet easy to use dishwasher with a great bottle washer feature

This new GE Profile dishwasher is even better than the online ratings. This is the quietest dishwasher ever. You can't even here it run. Then the bottle washers on the top rack clean everything from bottles to wine glasses to coffee mugs perfectly. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Very disappointed in this dishwasher. The rack is terrible, it is difficult for the dishes to be place upright the when they should. The dishes are wet even with th extra dry cycle on.

Not satisfied at all. Cheaply made inside. Not powerful enough Have soap residue left in the dispenser.

We bought two of these dishwashers: one for our apartment in NYC and the other for our house in the suburbs. We like the unit from a design perspective, especially the integrated wheel assemblies which make it nearly impossible for the wheels to fall off. However, both units had problems with the door latch not closing properly. The problem with the unit in the house was far worse initially. After several attempts to repair that unit over a period of three months, GE Consumer Relations agreed to replace the unit. As bad as that service experience was, I had to waste an enormous amount of time across 8 service appointments (3 of which were 'no shows') to attempt to get the unit fixed in our apartment. Ultimately GE was unable to repair it and refused to replace the unit, so we remain stuck with a dishwasher where the door doesn't stay closed. This has been the most miserable appliance service experience in my life.

DO NOT buy this dishwasher. Poor quality and even worse customer service. I moved into a brand new house with brand new appliances in December 2014. At the end of March a “leak detected” alarm came in and the unit would not work. We contacted GE. They sent a repair man the following week. He needed to order a part, so another technician came the next week. After that issue was “fixed” the detergent pack would no longer dissolve. I tried regular detergent and the soap would still not disperse and the dishes would not wash. Contacted GE again and they sent a repair man who said he fixed the issue and that it was a wiring problem with the control board. It still did not work. Contacted GE again and they sent another repair man who said the control board needed to be replaced and that he would order the part and someone could come out next week. So I have been without a working dishwasher for 6 weeks. I contacted GE about setting up the fifth repair and they can only send someone on Tues and Thurs to my area. I have already taken 4 days of vacation to meet with the GE techs that have not been able to repair my unit. I told GE customer care that it needed to be Friday, they told me no and I escalated to a supervisor. The supervisor then told me I could find someone to fix my unit. I told him that was his job, since it was a GE unit, and FOUR GE techs have not been able to correct it. He then told me that it was my job since I couldn’t work with their schedule – I guess rearranging my work schedule four times isn’t enough. Thankfully my builder said he will meet the tech next week. Hopefully it will get repaired….but at this point doubtful…
