Great Surge Protector

It has room for a good number of outlets, a number of which are spread out nicely to allow for larger plugs. It has good protection at 2880 joule protection rating. There is a 2.1 amp USB charging dock for 2 plugs attached by a 4 foot cord tethered to the surge protector so the charger can be placed on my nightstand while the plugs are on the floor. Another great feature includes what they call “automatic shutdown technology” which stops power to the devices when the surge protection expires. All surge protection expires and as consumers we really don’t know when that is. So this is a safety feature ensuring surge protection. Without this feature there is a false sense of security after a number of years. Highly recommend this product.

The cabled USB port is what sold me, I mount it under my desk for easy phone charging. There is one problem though, and it could be fine or quite bad. There is a low buzz this emits, similar to a cicada, which could mean a few things. -Cheap parts (probably true) -System failure or end of lifespan -Faulty hardware or resistor went bad (possible) -USB port conflicting with a cheap design -Poor design- apparently cheap and poorly designed surge protectors under low load will buzz because of cut corners by the makers. It has to do with Y capacitors and transformers, I'm no electrician, but my family is. I'm most convinced on this as it stands. I don't know if I'll return it, I don't think it's bad, but an APC surge arrest is better and if you can get it for the same price, like right now, do it. USB hubs are cheap and last unlike surge protectors

I can plug up all my devices to charge with no problems. I would definitely recommend for someone who has multiple electronics (phone, tablet, Apple Watch, AirPods, etc) they have to use at once.

Everything I need plugs into it nicely, couple of storms knocked out the power a few times but all my devices stayed intact with no burnouts. Worth it.

Also you cannot plug like external hard drive 110/115 volt adapters side by side. Not enough room. The USB Dongle is useless because the lead cable is extra extra extra short. Just adds cost to the Surge Protector.

It has 10 outlets and 2 USB outlets that are protected.The 6ft USB cord is handy. It charges 35% faster. I really like the LED indicator it’s not too bright at night. I like that I’m able to push up my nightstand closer to the wall now because the 3ft cord has a flat plug instead of a bulky plug. I love that I don’t have to always be connected to a cord and I can just up and go like my busy lifestyle. Definitely recommend this.
